Now that I’m actually bothering to post links of my fics on tumblr, I am occasionally going to provide links to ones that have been out for a while, but I remembered existed and like, and never posted here.
This is one of those. It’s an Eldritch!Siffrin that was loosely inspired by the @isat-weeping-god-au in the sense that it was what I was reading at the time, and so I’m still crediting them with inspiration for this, and the resulting more eldritch stuff that I will be making soon now that rereading this has finally given me more ideas.
Here’s a snippet:
Within the bubble of combat is calm. A logical proceeding of moves and countermoves, transformation and familiar creation. Outside the bubble is ferocity made manifest. A swirling mass of teeth and talons, shadows and scales. You are gnashing maws and slashing claws. Loop is breaking horns and plaguing swarms. You are beasts the likes of which civilisation has long since buried.
