Standing in the kitchen to fry some bacon to join the eggs on your plate you don’t hear Dean getting closer to steal a piece of bacon.

Squealing at the sudden motion you start shaking. Hands trembling you need to let go of the pan.

“Sorry. I scared you. Uh…the bacon just smelled so good and I wanted to steal a piece.”

“I thought you don’t like my food.” You mutter.

“That was before I knew you are not the enemy. Let’s act civil around each other. I messed up epically, I know that. But if we want to find out what happened seven years ago we must pull at the same string, Y/N.”

“Says the man aiming a gun to my head not so long ago.”

“How about having lunch with Sam? Maybe we can talk about what happened to him.”

“Dean. Do you believe Sam wants to talk about what happened to Jess? I don’t think so. I’m hiding the fact from my family for years now. I never told anybody what happened during those days. No one else knows what he did.”

“No one? Not even your mom?”

“She was the only one. Five days later she was dead.” You whisper.

“Shit. I’m sorry for bringing it up.”

“I never told anyone. I wanted to tell dad, but he was busy with business and I had the feeling he wanted me to stop talking about what happened and play the good daughter.”

“Can I say something without you getting mad?” Dean asks.

“Since when are you interested in me not getting mad?”

“Well…since I know you didn’t have anything to do with all this. I know now that you are a victim too.”

“Fine. Spill it, Winchester.”

“I don’t like your father…never did. There I said it.”

Laughing you shake your head. Slapping Dean’s chest playfully you can’t stop laughing and he looks at you with wide eyes.

“That’s not really a secret Dean. I know that. It’s written all over your face when you see my father or even talk about him.”

“Really. Damn, I have to work on my poker face then.”

“I don’t like your father either. He scares the shit out of me and he’s a pervert.”

“I know. He’s scary but I got no clue why he acts like that toward you. I mean he tried to hit on my girlfriends before, but he arranged this marriage and now he’s acting like it means nothing to him.”

“Huh? Oh, he’s not like that usually? You said he was trying to get into your girlfriends pants all the time.”

“Yeah. But mostly after I broke up with them. Not while I was with them. Well, except Lisa…but I guess it was her not my father starting the affair.”

“I have to admit I do not like her…not at all. I hate the way she looks at you.” You blur out and Dean starts grinning. You are jealous and he likes it.

“Well, I don’t like her either. How about having lunch with Sam? He like you and I guess Sam will be happy to see I didn’t eat you alive so far.”

“Sounds good to me…but we shouldn’t tell him about our assumptions. I don’t want to hurt him even more. After all, he’s been through. After what those monsters did to him and Jess. I can’t even imagine how he must feel. Seeing the love of his life getting hurt and not able to help her, Dean. That’s…” Starting to cry you wonder when Dean wraps his arms around you to hold you tight.

Not daring to move you rest your head against his shoulder to let it all out. Everything you held back since those men kidnapped you.

“We will find out if my father was behind all this and then he will pay the price. Just like the men kidnapping you and Sammy. I will kill them all. Punish them…hurt them…”

“What if it wasn’t your dad?”

“Then we will ask him for help. Till we know who is behind all this we need to be careful. You are right. I can’t hurt Sammy even more by telling him it was dad. Maybe…only maybe John is innocent. I will ask a friend for help. Someone reliable. Someone I know will for sure tell me the truth about all that’s going on.”

“Okay. Sounds good to me. I should get dressed.“ You whisper. Not letting go of you Dean kisses your hair softly and you freeze.

A gentle gesture? Dean Winchester is acting nicely toward you?

“How are you, Y/N?” Sam asks eying you up and down.

“I’m fine, Sam. And you?”

“I’m trying to get back into study. I talked to John and he agreed I can continue my law study at Stanford.” Sam says and you look at Dean.

“John said it’s okay you continue your study?” Dean asks.

“He always wanted me to continue but after all that happened, I just couldn’t find the strength. But now I need a new direction in my life. I have to move on. Jess wouldn’t want me to waste my life.”

“I’m sure she would be proud.” You say squeezing Sam’s hand softly and Dean clenches his jaw.

Smiling at you Sam covers your hand with his. Before you can say something Dean clears his throat.

“I think we should order some food. The waitress is staring into our direction the whole time. Let’s give her a huge tip later.” Dean mutters.

“Oh, sure. We should really eat something. I’m starving. You need to tell us more about Stanford later, Sammy.”

“I will. I’m glad you got used to my grumpy big brother. He’s not that bad if you get used to him. Actually, he’s a pretty nice guy.” Sam says.

“I had a hunch.” You reply and Dean smirks.

“He’s not too rough to you, isn’t he?”

“Rough?” You ask flushing red.

“Yelling at you are throwing things.”

“No…”

“Good. If he’s acting like a douche just call me an I’ll come around.” Sam suggests.

“I don’t think my wife needs your help. I know how to treat her right.” Dean mutters covering your other hand with his. Playing with your wedding band he watches your reaction.

“It’s alright. You know a little fight brings some passion into a relationship.”

“Passion…I see. Didn’t know Dean can get passionately.” Sam chuckles.

“You don’t know everything about me, little brother,” Dean smirks.

“I really do not need to know everything about your life.”

Walking you back to your shared house Dean slings an arm around your shoulder. Leaning into the tender touch you wonder why he’s suddenly so nice.

“I never saw Sammy so happy. I think we should meet up with him more often. You are a good influence.” Dean says.

“Something is worrying me, Dean. If your dad always encouraged Sam to go back to Stanford…why should he then kidnap him and Jess? This doesn’t make sense any longer.”

“I know. But maybe John lied. Maybe he tries to trick Sammy.”

“Sam refused to go back. Why should he encourage him to go now? I got a bad feeling. What if we are wrong? What if the big bad guy ain’t your dad, Dean?”

“We will find out soon enough. For now, we need to keep an eye open.”

“I’ll keep two open as my husband tried to kill me not so long ago.” You retort.

“You will always bring this up. I thought we are over the ‘I wanted to kill you’ phase by now.” Dean chuckles.

“Really? You wanted to kill me, Winchester. It’s not like you burned a pancake or ruined my favorite dress.”

“Look…uh…I’m sorry. We are in this together and I swear I will not try to kill you again or ruin your favorite dress.”

“Fine. Tomorrow we should start doing some investigations.”

“I’ll call someone to come around tonight. Maybe they can find out something for me. They do not like my dad so I guess they will help me.”

“If you say so. I’m going to head upstairs. I’m beaten and I need some sleep.”

“Okay. I’ll come in an hours or two.” Dean says kissing your hand before letting you walk upstairs.

Smiling you change your clothes. The last weeks Dean was like a different man. He even hugged you on free terms. Kissed your hand…Maybe he finally sees you are not the enemy. That you are in this together until you find a way out?

Loud voices coming from downstairs catch your attention. Silently opening the door your blood freezes when you hear two men laughing like hyenas…that’s the same laughter…the same…

Looking down the stairs you see the Styne’s…Jacob and Eldon…the shoes Jacob is wearing…no…no… This can’t be true. Those men. They are here. It was those two kidnap you.

Why is Dean talking to them?

“We hear you have some trouble with your little wife.” Jacob snickers.

“Dean, you know we could help you with that problem too. We are always ready to help you out.” Eldon adds grinning.

“I can handle her on my own. But if it turns out to be too difficult for me I’ll let you know.” Dean lies trying to end the conversation. Those two give him the creeps and he doesn’t know why.

“What a pity. I bet she tastes great…well, I know it for sure.” Eldon snickers and Dean frowns. How could he know that? Looking down at Jacobs shoes his throat tightens.

Dean wants to take the gun out of his waistband but then he remembers you asked him to place it into the nightstand and not run around with it in the house.

Cursing himself he tries to hide the disgust welling up his chest.

Climbing out of the window you only have one goal. Your home. Your father.

Hearing Dean is doing business with the Styne’s and that you know those two are your kidnappers will make him change his mind.

You will be free…you will be safe…you can go back home…

“Now Im ready” you said as you look to Dean who walks out the door first

You grabbed the house keys from the bowl and walked out the door as you closed and locked it.

You sat in the passenger seat of your brothers car as you passed by places that reminded you of Eldon and how you wished everything could have been different. It would make things a whole lot easier.

“Y/n?” Dean snaps you back into reality which is always the worst part

“What?” you reply looking to him

“Are you ok?” he asks looking to you and stopping at a red light

“Yeah, Im just a little tired” you lied to him

“Sorry about last night, its been a while since we hung out” he said while giving baby gas and driving in the direction of the school

You nod in agreement as you space out looking towards the road. Dean notices you arent really paying attention.

“How about we hang out this weekend, heck we will even invite Sam. If he isnt working over the weekend weekend that is” Dean suggests in hopes you will snap out back to reality.

“What?” you finally look to him

“Want to spend some time with me over the weekend? I’ll ask Sam what he is doing and the three of us can get away or something” he repeated once more as he looks to you

“Oh, yeah. Sure we can do something over the weekend” you reply as your brother turns into the parking lot of the school.

You unbuckle you seat belt, grab your bag and open the door of the car and step out. You close the door behind you and see your friends pulling in. You hear someone walking behind you and as that person got closer is when Jo linked arms with you and led you in another direction.

Dean knew something is going on with you and he was going to get answers from you. Well try to anyways. He didnt like all the secrecy thats been going on with you. He has been used of you telling him things about yourself or anything in general.

As he remains parked, he looks onto you where you have met up with your friends. From the corner of his eye is when he noticed the Styne car pull into the parking lot. He remains parked and sees Jacob drop off Eldon and Cyrus. Jacob nods to him in acknowledgement but Dean doesnt return the greeting and drives off. Jacob chuckles to himself and wishes his brothers a good day.

As the morning went on Eldon walks down the hall with his friends and reflect to the times the both of you spent together.

“I cant believe we cant walk into a stupid diner together and sit down to have a normal meal. Just like everyone else” you say while picking a fry and placing it into your mouth

“I know, its frustrating but I dont want this getting back to our parents and making things more difficult” he says after taking a sip of his coke

“Like as if everything isnt anymore difficult” you say in a hushed tone

“Hey, when we graduate from high school. We can get away like we planned and that way we can always be together” he says while placing his hand in yours and entwining them together and gently places a kiss at the top of yours.

“Its just not fair how everyone else gets to sit with their boyfriends in a diner and have a nice meal with them” you say while looking to the entwined hands

“I know, I would love to show off my girlfriend in public too. I hate how things have started off with our families” he says in a hushed tone

“Eldon” Cyrus says while snapping his brother back to reality

“Sorry Cy, what did you say?” he asks looking to his brother.

“Dad just called and said Eli will be coming home and wants us home right after school” Cyrus repeats himself as he looks to his brother.

“Alright, why didnt he call me?” he asks looking to his brother.

“He said you werent answering and called me” Cyrus replies while looking behind him and sees his friends.

They both look to you as you walk with Castiel and Jo down the hall.

“Anyway dad also said he has big news for us and would like for us to be at dinner” Cyrus continues looking to his brother and adjusting his bag.

“Big news? It better not be something about either of us taking over the businesses” he says while looking etween the both of them.

Cyrus looks surprised or surprised all together to be hearing this from Eldon. He thought he would have loved to take over the family businesses but he didnt realize he had dreams to pursue as well.

“Look you arent the only one who wants to get away from the family history” Eldon says and walks away from Cyrus.

You look on trying to read lips between the two but fail. You thought you would ask Eldon later when you two met up at the usual spot.

Cyrus walks to you, Castiel and Jo. You all wait for the next bell to go to class.

“What was that all about anyway?” Jo asks quickly before parting ways to separate classes.

“My dad called and asked us to be home right after school because my brother Eli is home from college” Cyrus says looking to all of you.

“Oh I see” Castiel says

“Eli is pretty hot” Jo says while Cyrus grimaces

“Seriously?” Cyrus asks

“Yes, dead serious” Jo says with a proud smile looking to Cyrus

“Cyrus shes actually right. Eli is holy crap hot” you admit while looking to Jo and Castiel

“Castiel dont even get me started on your brothers” Jo says while whipping to her head towards him

“I know, I know, I know. You cant stop these girls from saying those things about our brothers Cy” Cas says looking to Cyrus

All of you laugh in unison while separating from each other and going to class.

As the day came to an end, you are the first one out of the school and wait in the parking for either of your friends to come out. Or even wait for Eldon to walk out and maybe just maybe you will catch a ride with him. Spend a little time with each other at the spot before going home.

You see Eldon walk out of the school and feel excited. You wait for him to get closer and the more closer he gets and see you. A smile forms on his face as he sees you.

“Hey” is all you say with a smile on your face.

You get closer to him as you wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him. He does the same and kisses you right back.

“Hey” he says as he pulls away from the kiss as the smile from his face never fades.

“What was that about with Cyrus today?” you ask never pulling away from him.

You always loved to be in his arms, its where you always felt safe.

“Daddy wants us home because my brother is home from college, dont know why he is home but he also has some news to tell us” he says while keeping you in his arms.

You see Jo, Castiel and Cyrus walking out of the school along with everyone else and you pull away from him. Eldon looks behind and sees why you have done that.

Eldon looks to the road and sees his brother Eli driving into the school parking lot.

“Cy, we got to go. Eli is here to pick us up” Eldon says as he walks away from you quickly.
