Elder Things . By far my favorite model of the Elder Thing. . Tried avoiding the typical "green cucumber" color scheme of the Elder Things, so I went with a brownish fleshy color and used an earthy (cucumber) green in the deepest shadows to try and keep a "vegetation" appearance. I guess this brownish color scheme is actually pretty typical for this particular model. I can't remember where, but I saw one where the gelatinous sacks on the sides were blue... I like how the cool colors worked with the rest, so I stole that idea and used a cool blue/green for the wing membranes as well.
