M'aiq the Liar for no reason
I am currently quite sick, so this animation was created while I had a high temperature and may be completely non-sense
hi! I’m curious about the city of Elden Root and the Elden Tree. It seems like for ESO they had to scale back the original vision for it, but the few bits of concept art I have seen are so awesome! Do you have anything about the tree city, or maybe about bosmeri architecture in general?
Hello! There is indeed some Elden Tree concept art. You've likely seen it, but there is the well known piece below by Jeremy Fenske. Jeremy created alot of the best known concept art for ESO.
There's a good handful of Valenwood art from the Improved Emperor's guide to Tamriel as well. Sadly a lot of it doesn't have any art credit but I'll add some of it here
Bosmer Wayshrine
Bosmeri Interior
Elden Root at night - piece by Jeremy Fenske
Grahtwood Tree
Elden Root loading screen - I'm sure this will look familiar to many. He doesn't have it in his public portfolio but I suspect this may also be by Jeremy Fenske.
Small Wood Elf shrine
Bosmer Temple
"Entrance to Elden Root" - By Corey Loving
All in all there's a good amount of Valenwood ESO art out there. Not all of it is credited but a lot of it seems to have been made by Jeremy Fenske. Even some of the pieces I didn't credit may be by him due to certain stylistic indications but I can't be sure. All in all there seem to be two major styles to ESO Valenwood art. Fenske's style and the style of at least (one or two?) other artist(s) who created the singular asset pieces, such as the Bosmer Shrine and the Ghratwood tree.
Here's one more of Elden Root to top it off :)
*artist unknown* - this price may be from a different artist than the ~2-3?~ other artists I speculated as being the primary people responsible for Valenwood concept art.
If anyone knows the credits for any of the art posted, please comment below!
I saw your question earlier but wanted to take time to give you the best reply I could.
Hope you found this helpful!
I’m not sure what’s going on with my goat, but he’s still cute and tiny so I love him anyway.
