Why MoonPile?
Unfortunately, that's the @ I made 10 years ago when ESO beta launched. Not at all related to the cookie – it's about a bit of Khajiit lore I enjoyed; AKA "the khajiiti space program":
"Khajiit will stand tall as Alkosh, cat upon cat upon cat. And in doing so, it will climb to the moon as it has been told so many times."
...
Khajiit saw reason in these words and so it climbed and climbed, cat upon cat, for a hundred days. Much sugar was brought there to support the climbers and in the end Khajiit climbed high, so very high that it was in fact closer to Jo'Segunda than to Nirni below."

PDF Presentation: The Real Endgame Poll – Player Views on Treasure-Map Antiquity Leads
"A huge shoutout to the 170 players who took the time to participate in our poll, helping us gather meaningful insights about Treasure-Map Antiquity Leads.
We've now put together all the data into a comprehensive PDF presentation, highlighting the key figures, emerging trends, and important takeaways from our community’s feedback.
Feel free to share!
The more visibility this gets, the easier it is to bring clear, community-backed feedback into the discussion. Speaking of discussion, do feel free to react and add to the chatter about the poll on the forums, right here."
Discussion on the official forums:
RESULTS Are In! Treasure-Map Antiquity Poll — 170 Player Responses | ESO Forums
· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·
My thoughts:
I initially contributed to the creation of that survey etc. along with onyxorb. But huge thanks to Lilarna and Rhiwiel of The Real Endgame for doing all of the work to organize this!
I've been dealing with some problems IRL recently, and frankly couldn't be fucked to care at all about Treasure Maps or ESO RNG – systems I hate even on the best of days. ESO has been a comfort and escape for me through some of the worst. But this "grind" is just an insulting waste of time – a feeling that's amplified in situations that highlight how limited our time might truly be.
Nonetheless, I care about our friends and their efforts. A few comments re: the survey results:
On page 5, ~65% of responders said the scarcity of Treasure Maps is one of the biggest hurdles. – That's true! But from previous testing data we can see that it's not just the amount of available maps that's the problem – it's the drop rates. Even if I had enough maps, there's not a single thing I find fun about running back and forth between the same ~5 spots 200-500+ times for weeks/months before getting the thing I need.
Page 7, "About 11% have unsubscribed and abandoned builds quitting ESO." – I suspect this number is slightly larger, since most of those players are no longer around to see nor respond to surveys. I've been saddened to see some truly inspiring creators "last online" many months ago, and no longer participating in community Discords, etc.
Page 7, 45% now avoid Map-exclusive Antiquities, but the number whose gameplay is negatively affected is even larger: ~67% - 75% ("Other" = 8% variable; not necessarily all negative).
And the total who play less is ~27%: ~7% of the left chart, and a combined ~45% of those 45% who said they now avoid maps also play less (right chart) = ~20%.
Tiny rays of hope:
ZOS did acknowledge our thread here.
We did not (yet) see any Leads in Maps while testing U50 on PTS.
The upcoming High Seas of Tamriel event will have Leads that drop furnishing plans instead of the item directly, so you can craft as many of the item as you like! That's huge! → Antiquity Furnishing Leads – Recipes! Thank you Devs!! (High Seas, U51 Preview)
Some of us suspect that we might see bigger changes to the Antiquities system on the whole when Greymoor is added to the base game in Season Two.
So keep complaining (politely)!
I have it on damn good authority that it does help.

Yay! Thank you for listening, Devs! ^_^
I'm so glad we're getting that exact brass chain as a craftable, too. I hope the plan won't be too rare.
I was compiling a text list of all of the new Housing items in U50, but may be a while. In the meantime, check out Futerko's video.

Ladders next?? xD
(There's a tiny part of me that hopes ladders are taking a while so they can be interactive. I know it's a big ask and maybe not possible. But Khajiit can hope!)

I've been working on a few builds simultaneously. (Slowly; IRL has been hard recently.)
Just feeling a bit stuck on my builds and decided to revisit my Uncharted shots for inspiration. I have so many left to post from Lost Legacy! I'm also still playing through Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and will have many more shots to share of that, too. The set-staging is amazing.
I'd love to build places like this in ESO. All of the ruins and rubble from the Stone-Nest tileset (that we don't yet have) would be amazing for this.
The pathing and overgrown aesthetic in Uncharted are so fun. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the gun-play and cars. This aesthetic and sense of adventure, but with magical combat & fantasy gear would be amazing... or... Skyrim 2.0 xD
I wish we could have a "house" in The Parch: no buildings, just sand dunes with the Parch skybox – and perhaps a bit of sea off to the side, like Alik'r.
Also wish we could have those warm gold lights. Or better, the ability to make our own:
Combine the most useful effects of existing lights into one –
One light to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them!
(Sorry 😂)

Forever wishing for craftable Stone-Nest ruins </3
I had SO many ideas, but they'd be so much better with the ruined pieces that I don't even want to start :(
Khajiit was being a tourist in Solstice, taking pictures of broken and irregular Stone-Nest structures that would be useful furnishings.
Dr
...
And hoping for these to be fixed:
Sometimes feel like I need to take a break for a couple of years... and maybe return if hopefully things get added, fixed, and Antiquities finally addressed :(
Filer Ool in IA has Solstice Treasure Maps this week (May 12, 2026) and...
Who cares?
No, really. Have fun trying to get up to ~ 424,000 Archival Fortunes (or pay tens of millions of gold on the traders, and waste weeks of IRL time) to unlock your needed item.
Data:
Pertaining mostly to newer-DLC zone Maps like Apocrypha, West Weald, and Solstice.

Meanwhile, to use and even recreate combat Mythics in perpetuity, you only need to complete it ONE time, and it's usually far easier than (Bound) furnishings (that have no impact on the market nor anyone else's gameplay).
Needless to say I won't be going into Infinite Archive this week.
Wishing for something like a "Crate of Achievements" for tester characters on PTS.
So that we can just unlock the ones we need to buy multiple furnishings.
Currently you can only get 1 piece of any achievement furnishing from a tester toon's crates.
"Crate of Luxury Vendor Furnishings" with stacks of each item would be nice as well, since can't get those unless someone on the other server is kind enough to share.
Futerko's video exists, but sorry to everyone who prefers a text list.
There are a lot of items I'm happy they're adding in Update 50! (Some in this post.) (Among others not shown: curtains with open/closed toggles!)
But I didn't find any new furnishing plans during the 2 weeks of PC-NA-copy PTS. (Albeit, Idk if they weren't dropping yet or what.)
And I found ZERO Antiquity Leads.
(There's one new Antiquity furnishing that's really cool, that I'd love to show you. I think a lot of players will love it (if a certain recently-returned Collectible is any indication)! But we have no clue where it drops, and it will require 3/3 to complete. If older and multi-source Gold-quality furnishings like the Moons-Blessed pool and Vitrified Soul Crystal are any indication, that will be a huge pain.)
It takes time to make lists (like this for U48, and this for U49). At this point I just don't think it's worth that time, nor worth getting excited about stuff most players won't realistically be able to obtain until a year or more later. I hope to be wrong, as I was about the Stone-Nest Gazebo.
So I've only shown a few items for now, mostly Home Goods and Achievement:

My other major ESO end-game-systems wish, apart from a long list of Housing requests.
This is primarily about PC UI, m+kb. I have tried switching to console/Gamepad Mode UI to get around this, but I do not like Gamepad UI and it makes dyeing cumbersome in other ways.
UX issues.
The process to try dyes on PC UI goes like this:
1. Click the color 2. Drag mouse all the way to the other side of the screen 3. Click the slot to apply. 4. Repeat for each color you want to try. ...5. Get or exacerbate a repetitive stress injury.
When testing a lot of different dyes in various slots, all those click-drag-clicks add up. The "stamp" tool ("set fill") & other existing tools do NOT help with this. Changing to Gamepad UI is also not a solution.
Potential solution:
Pre-select the slots you want to change, then click on colors to fill all of the selected slots, instantly & simultaneously. Example: if I wanted to change the green body slot in the screenshot above, I'd just click that to select it to be dyed, then click dyes individually to fill it. No dragging the mouse back and forth 1000x.
–
It's not possible to preview locked dyes.
We have to use PTS just to preview dyes: example. Why not allow previewing on Live, just like we can with locked armor and weapon styles? It would motivate more players who don’t use the PTS to go for Achievements.

On PTS, I thought you'd first/only unlock the furnishing coffer for the faction you'd pledged to. As many of us now know, incorrect! We get all three coffers just by unlocking the Relics – which is surprisingly easier than I thought, too! So faction choice only determines which monster set, dye, etc. you get first – check the ESO-Hub article: https://eso-hub.com/en/events/the-night-market
At least in regards to the Night Market, I was wrong to worry about Antiquity Lead drop rates! The Market has excellent Lead drop rates! (It seems like the Devs listened to our concerns about this on PTS, and I'm grateful for that.) I only wish rates in other zones were even half as good, and stand by the rest of that post. Especially this: I wish ZOS would make ALL Antiquities buyable after 1st find.
I've already unlocked all of the furnishings just by running around killing bosses with groups. They can even drop from daily coffers:
(I love the Bearer of Fargrave, Broken Skull furnishing. It's an excellent item for landscaping and other interesting builds!)
I'm still enjoying the Night Market, but already getting tired. (Stuff like getting gobbled up by a sandworm and thus robbed of Skirmish loot and completion definitely doesn't help; I quit after that.) And as said in the first post, I understand why others are not having a good time. Worth repeating, with edits:
To enjoy the Night Market, you need:
To want the rewards. Having read many common complaints, I see a HUGE mismatch between the content / gameplay and the rewards. As usual with ESO. (More on that in the OP.)
A high tolerance for ambiguity. You don’t know what you’re doing? That’s ok! Neither do we, we’ll figure it out. You died? That’s ok! Doesn’t matter, everybody rez! And so on.
A decent group. Best if it’s one that shares the above tolerance, and patience. Luckily I had fine luck with PUGs via Group Finder and guilds. Zone Event GF groups fill instantly! (Unless you have the misfortune of playing outside of your server’s popular hours.) You don’t even need to talk, just join and stick together. Do what everyone else is, and REZ REZ REZ! (Issue: Trash mobs are grossly OP (and don’t even drop anything worth it, except occasionally a tiny bit of Favor that despawns way too fast). It can be hard for a solo player to get past them if there are no Jump Pads nearby. The time taken to return to group – especially if the respawning player is a Tank or Healer – could wipe the entire group. So in many cases, it's better to quickly rez: slot Spirit Mastery.)
A decent build or two. These don’t need to be sweaty, optimized trial gear! My main setup is lazy: Oakensoul + Deadly Strike (already have for Arcanist, buyable, can sub for any other good DPS set) + Warrior Poet (overland from Vvardenfell, buyable, the most important part for survival!) + Monster helm (I use Slimecraw; can sub) + self-heals.
A sneak build with invisibility can also help get quests done; varies depending on your race etc.: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Stealth#Sneak_Buffs I'm finding that you need true invisibility because the Night Market has the same annoying bug as several delves and PDs: you randomly get Detected even when there's nothing around. If it happens when you're in range of a mob, you're dead.
This also adds to my apprehension about the upcoming North Skyrim / Winterhold "Excursion" Zone,
as they called it in the update stream. I play ESO (since Beta) chiefly for (relatively) peaceful exploration of zones that flesh out the ES world and lore with fantastic new environment art, and for Housing. I've never played ESO for combat. Especially not challenging combat – luckily I'm able and willing to do it, but it's a means to an end only.
That doesn't mean every zone has to keep the 3-delves-etc. formula, but I hope they will not generally devolve into reskinned combat-centric (and FOMO) event-zones like the Night Market, IA, etc. I'm surprisingly enjoying the Night Market considering that it's not-for-me at all on paper, but a pleasant surprise and limited enjoyment doesn't mean I'd want more of this.
And a new problem surfaces: Night Market Merchants are inaccessible after it closes
Official forums post: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/692413/housing-night-market-night-market-merchants-inaccessible-when-nm-closes-cannot-buy-furnishings
I checked on the PTS where the Night Market is currently closed: The Night Market Plaza is completely inaccessible – we will not be able to buy Night Market Achievement furniture.
I tried to access the Plaza by exiting the Night's Den house, only to be ported out to The Shambles. You also cannot port outside the house at all – see the forum post and screenshots.
ZOS, Please leave the Starlit Plaza open, or at least allow us to buy the items from a merchant elsewhere!
Coldharbour would be fine, like the Antiquities, since some players do not have Fargrave.
