"E L fudge, its in the cookie"
Relationship Soundbites: Fudgey Elves
This discussion centered around a pack of EL Fudge cookies taking up space in the kitchen for the last few months.
BF: “The fudgey elves, they’re calling to me. “Eat me. Eat me.” Now they’re dancing around in a circle.”
Me: “Are you sober right now or just the usual brand of crazy?”
I'm so out of the loop sometimes.
I recently saw that there was some hubub about EL James, an author, but there was a short period before my brain connected point A and point B and figured out that she was the author of 50 Shades of Gray. During that time, I was wondering to myself if the Keebler E.L. Fudge cookies had been a weird reference, then I realized who she was and was super-disappointed the timeline didn't match up. Then I spent some time unsuccessfully trying to pull together an EL James cookie joke that would be funny even if you didn't remember EL Fudge cookies.
In the end, all I would up with was a craving for sandwich cookies shaped like elves.
“MY BRAAAAAAIIIIN!”
