the funny thing with the 'eiselcross is for lovers' thing is that matt did make aeor for lovers. accidentally. like eiselcross is largely uninhabited. there's a few outposts and that's it. no other humanoids for miles and miles. unless you have a dozen spell slots to drop on sending like jester does, you're forced to talk with the people you're traveling with. there's no townsfolk to chat to. there's no questgivers or friendly npcs to find. no ports to restock at or stores to refresh your supplies in. there's the person in front of you and back. forcing you to evaluate what each person means to you and how much you actually value them. all that hidden love you're carrying for them because you don't want to ruin the precious thing you already have. eiselcross is for lovers π
