Nichkhunās biggest strong point is his kindness and consideration of others. Ever since the debut days heās been taking a good care of the staff members. However, I wish heād fix his habit of cuddling me when he gets drunk.
Taecyeon on Nickhun, both 2PM
As strong points go Khunās is one of the best to have.

I began listening to Kpop in spring 2006 and I found the language very beautiful. Then I became a fan of DBSK and I learned to read Hangeul on my own from Wikipedia. I wanted to sign up for Korean classes at my uni, but they told me that the teacher left to Korea (blah, as a matter of fact, I met that teacher later on in Seoul, lol). Back then there was NO ONE who could teach Korean in the entire country. I didnāt really study anything on my own at the time (I lack that kind of will power), just watched videos, listened to the music and began watching Korean dramas. Since I knew how to read, I could memorize various words, and I figured out most of the phonetic quirks on my own pretty fast. The fact that I was studying linguistics at the time helped too.
Phase 2. Active learning (Autumn 2008)
This is when I went to Korea for the first time as an exchange student and I took an intensive Korean level 1 course at Kyung Hee University. Also, at the time I got contacted by a Lithuanian girl whoās been into K-pop since 2001. We became friends and she played a big role in pushing me towards better proficiency in Korean.
I came back from Korea with level 2 books that I never opened lol. I just canāt study on my own. On the other hand, I kept on watching the dramas and listening to the music. My friend introduced me to 2PM and at the time I already noticed that my upper beginner comprehension was enough to understand such shows as Wild Bunny. In Autumn 2009, my friend convinced me to watch Korean dramas without subs. It was hard at first (the first subless drama was Take Care of the Young Lady), and it used to take me around 3 hours to watch one episode (pause and rewind, pause and rewind), but the realization that you can actually get whatās going on was priceless. At that time I also became a full-fledged 2PM fan, so I rewatched all the Idol Army episodes, followed their Heartbeat comeback, and even streamed year end festivals for the first time!
In spring 2010 (after the entire scandal Mesopotamia fandom split drama what have you), I applied for a translator spot at 2PMalways. I figured that my English improved a lot back in 2002 or 2003 (?) when I began translating stuff, so maybe the same could work for my Korean. Ever since March 2010, Iām with 2PMalways ^^ My Korean continued to sort of creep forward at a slow pace because I didnāt have a proper schooling and everything I knew was from TV shows, Twitter and following the Korean fans.
Phase 4. Active learning (Summer 2011 ā Summer 2012)
This is when I went to Korea for the second time for study exchange. Again, lol. This time I spent a year at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (which is like 50 m away from Kyung Hee lmao). When I took an intensive Korean program placement test, the teacher who tested my speaking was like: Yeah, your comprehension and speaking is pretty good, but you donāt know how to form grammar, tell you what, if you cram Level 2 grammar in a week, I will place you in Level 3. Me: ⦠OKAY!Ā
Anyhow, thanks to the HUFS intensive course (4 hours a day, 5 days a week) after a year I graduated from level 6 (level 7 is only for hanja geeks who go into professional translating and academics), passed advanced level TOPIK, watched JWY debut on Emca RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME (*screams*), and came back home (*depression ensue*).
Phase 5. Passive maintenance (Autumn 2012 ~ )
I donāt think I know Korean well enough. I mean, I teach it at a local uni and my friends punch me for saying that Iām not good at Korean, but I think Iām not as good as Iād like to be. Perhaps I began too late? Or perhaps Iām just not diligent enough. Either way, right now Iām in the stage where I try to maintain all the skills acquired during my last long stay in Korea. Thatās why I keep myself surrounded with the Korean language all the time. My Twitter is in Korean, my phone menu is in Korean, I tweet in Korean, I sometimes talk to myself in Korean. After all, there are basically no opportunities to use this language here, aside from some random cases. I have I-canāt-Korean days, I have oh-shit-Korean-flood-gate-open days, when I freak my students out and just go on with the class material entirely in Korean (my classes are a circus OTL).
There is a different studying method for every person. For me itās the immersion and constant exposure. For some itās plain memorization. Itās true that it gets harder to learn a language the older you get, but itās not because your brain gets older. Itās because of the psychological noise in your head. I think that your mindset is also very important. On top of that, there are just people who have it easier, and some have it hard. I had a classmate who was really diligent and worked twice as much as all of us, but she struggled so bad with the English language all through the middle and high school (go figure, she lives in the UK now *shrug*). Anyways. Long post is long. To put it simply, Iām a geek. And Korean is my hobby.
Wikipedia says: The termĀ role modelĀ generally means any āperson who serves as an example, whose behaviour is emulated by others".
So in that sense I donāt think I have a role model really. I sometimes catch people say things like: Oh, I wanna be like her/him! I really look up to that person! etc. To be honest, I donāt think I do look up to anyone. There are definitely people that I admire, but there are no footsteps I would like to follow.
I guess I am very selfish in a way that I want a path for me and only me. How should I put it, if thereās something I have been thinking of doing, but itās already being done by other person, I drop it, and find another way or another angle of the work, so I could do something different. I just really donāt like copying.
There are definitely things other people have done, that I would like to do as well, but if I were to do it in the very same way, that wouldnāt be me, you know? Perhaps itās a bit complicated and irrational, but I sometimes get these comments: āOh wow! I wanna be like you!", and what I say is: Donāt be like me, be better than me.
So I guess my role model is my own mind that absorbs everything like a sponge and then tries to pave a road I should follow.
[FAN ACCOUNT] 2013-06-21/22 What Time Is It Tour SEOUL CONCERT
Itās been almost three weeks now and all the memories must have subsided into the deepest corners of my subconscious, but I suppose the general impressions remain and I guess I can share them. This post would probably be perfect with photos and fancams to illustrate it, but Iām too lazy to upload everything, and youāve seen all the stuff already anyways. Also, do not expect an exact order of the song list from me, because I am mixing Friday/Saturday events already, so I definitely canāt remember all the songs.
The ticket drama aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. I found it better than the Hands Up Tour Seoul concert from 2 years ago. It felt more professional and a lot better planned, aside from the fact that the sound engineering couldāve been better, because at times the live band was too loud >_<. Also, what surprised me was a sheer number of Japanese fans. There throngs and throngs of them @_@ I mean, there were quite a few of the Japanese fans 2 years ago as well, but this time there were Japanese wherever I would look, to the extent that one would wonder whether I was really in Korea. And so it happened that on Friday I sat surrounded by the Japanese Junho fans. The fan on my left was so loud!!!!!! She was Korea-loud. It was the first time I saw a Japanese fan who would scream this much, even during the ballads!!
Which brings me perhaps to my main observation or an impression ā youāve gotta know Korean for a Korean concert. I know that music is a language that has no boundaries and by all means, one can enjoy the concert 100% even without speaking Korean, but one of the things I enjoyed the most during the both days were their talking sessions and clearly, if you donāt speak Korean, you miss that part. I actually noticed that a big part of the audience was not fluent in Korean, and the fact manifested itself in probably one of the most annoying ways possible ā screaming.
When 2PM are talking during the intermissions, Korean fans actually LISTEN. In fact, Iāve been so used to the screaming-Korean-fan stereotype that it took me years to notice ā Korean Hottest actually LISTEN during ballads. Compared to some other K-fans that I know, during What Time Is It Tour in Seoul concert, Korean Hottest barely screamed during the ballads. Rather than screaming, they either listen intensely (if they havenāt heard the song before) or they sing along.
So anyway, going back to the point I was making ā when a member talks and youāre trying real hard to understand what heās talking about because of the echo and all the chaos thatās going around in the venue, and when someone SCREAMS at the top of oneās lungs NICHKHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!! You definitely know that person is not Korean⦠I was so annoyed several times, I almost facepalmed. I mean, here weāre trying to understand and listen, and someoneās yelling and not letting us hear anything! UGH!!
Later on, during the dinner after the 2nd day concert, the Korean fans told me that itās indeed either the foreign fans or really young Korean fans who scream during the talking sessions. I find it very rude, to be honest, I donāt care that you donāt understand the language and you find the entire talk boring or anything, there are people who actually WANT to hear what is being said, so please be so kind and stay quiet! It actually went to the point that the young fans in the standing section were reprimanded by the older ones, like: āSHUT THE FUCK UP, OPPA IS SPEAKING!!!ā, and the funniest part was that Minjun and Taecyeon heard them. So they went from O_O to --->Ā xD, lol.
So yes, that off my chest, I have to say that I was slightly disappointed once the opening video started, because it was the old What Time Is Tour opening vid with the boys in Tron-wannabe warrior suits and Khun firing off arrows like Legolas, but all the disappointment evaporated in thin air, when it all began with Game Over. Thereās gotta be something with Minjunās songs ā theyāre really good for the opening. And of course they had to raise Wooyoung on the shields for his bridge part, yes sure why donāt you, lift him up for us to see, as if his perfect proportions in a tight futuristic suite werenāt plain obvious in the first place.
Another thing I liked about this concert was how good they are at recycling and remaking stuff. Right after Game Over, we had ėģź² 미쳤ģė¤ and Iāll Be Back stages, both of which were remixes and remade choreo and what not. I especially liked that they used the upgraded choreography for a number of songs from their Year-End festival performances. Now that I have watched a video footage of their Tokyo Dome concert I see that most of things had been used there already, but you know, itās nice to see the military choreography break for Iāll be back with your own eyes (TWICE). I guess itās one of the Park Namyongās diamonds. Oh oh, and you canāt forget the fact that Iāll Be Back is probably one of the most favourite 2PM songs for the Korean fans, because you can actually feel your chair vibrate when the entire stadium chants: ė!!!! ė!!!!! ģ°ė¦¬!!!!!!
The first solo stages were for Chansung and Junho, and it took me two days to understand that the solo performances order was youngest -->Ā eldest. Yes, I know, Iām terribly slow. Iām pretty sure that youāve seen fancams of solo stages already, as I have watched a few of them as well to refresh my memory, so there is no need to describe what they were. I think that solo stages were the pinnacle of the concert, and for the first day I was impressed the most by Chansung and Taecyeonās solo performances. Mostly because they are not the best singers in the band, so they really exceeded my expectations.
As far as Chansung is concerned, his contemporary dance session was really nice. It sort of snatched your attention and didnāt let go. He was obviously dancing with a professional dancer, but he didnāt look like an amateur at all. The level to which he submerges himself into the performance is amazing. I really donāt get why he says heās originally bad at dancing, because in 2PM terms, heās probably second to Wooyoung & Junho. Considering his size and all, I really envy his plasticity in motion. I also was slightly worried about his song in general, because itās a ballad, and Chansung is not your strongest singer. Whenever we listen to him live, I actually hunch a little, as if waiting for a voice crack or a flat note, heaving a sigh of relief when his part is over. However, this time I was really REALLY pleasantly surprised. Perhaps it was due to the fact that he had a cold and he couldnāt overdo himself ā his singing was spot on, and I was left speechless after the performance.
It was a really strange feeling once he was done, sort of, something in between āoh my god, my baby did so well *sobs*ā & āoh this amazing amazing man *foams*ā. His performance for the first day was better than for the second day, because he was really out of it on the second day. I think his cold took a toll for the worse, and he was working on autopilot. Not that he made mistakes or anything, but he didnāt have this usual life in him. He talked only when it was his turn to talk, and he didnāt interrupt others speaking (as it usually is with 2PM, when all the guys talk at the same time). Either way, I am forever a fan of this gorgeous gorgeous man (both inside and out). Youāre a perfect bias list ruiner, Hwang Chansung.
Regarding Junhoās solo stage. Umm⦠Well, it was perfect. Actually neither Wooyoung nor Junho did impress me much during the con, because well⦠we know how awesome they are already and you just have a blast during their perfs, and then once itās over you find yourself thinking⦠er⦠what was that? I actually enjoyed the choreography, because it was fast, smooth and coupled with not-over-the-top outfit. Junho didnāt need to rip off his shirt to make the audience scream. Like Iāve mentioned before, I was sitting with Japanese fans on the first day, and trust me, they EXPLODED. No wonder Junho is currently the most popular member in Japan. There is something about him that makes you wanna trust him immediately. And although heās not big or anything, when he stands straight on stage, thereās something very manly about his physique. Sure, couple that with sweat-drenched puffy hair and you just WANNA SQUISH HIM, but thatās beyond the point. Lee Junho = perfection.
I think the next segment after Chansung/Junho solos was ķ.ė.ėæ, Heartbeat and Again and Again. Taecyeon and Wooyoung both wore white ķ.ė.ėæ clothes on the first day and they actually matched really well for Again & Again, because during the dance skit they stood either in the middle or at the opposite sides, so they kind of shone like beacons :D. Really enjoyed the fact that they recycled their microphone-stand for Again & Again from MBC 2009 Year-End festival. Not to mention that they did it in ķ.ė.ėæ clothes :Q_________. Gotta love Junhoās Givenchy Madonna tunic for the second day, it makes him look like a game or an anime character. And of course, no matter how much I try to concentrate on other members, Jang Wooyoung just Catches.The.Eye. I blame the proportions and the way he moves. I swear I could watch him dance 24/7. He may not be my favourite character off-stage, but I am surely a Woo-stan for a reason, and that reason being ā ģ¶¤ģ° (more on that later on).
After the song segment with ķ.ė.ėæ clothes they moved on to the 2nd part of solo stages. Wooyoung basically didnāt have time to change his clothes, so he just wore a jacket on top of his ķ.ė.ėæ outfit. While other members simply went into the solo stage performance, he had quite a long talk segment on both days. The entire concert was actually permeated with such words as āMissed youā and āSo sorryā, and Wooyoung also began his little talk and walk straight up to the front-side stage with āEveryone, did you miss us?ā āYEEEES!ā āAww, I missed you moreā *everyone dies*.
I really enjoyed his showmanship and how he manages to control the crowd. I mean, heās the member who hushes the fans and they actually LISTEN to him. On both days, he made this comment, asking people to raise their hands if it was their first time at a 2PM concert. Then he said: āI have a promise to make. By the time the concert ends, all the people who have raised their hands now, will have become our fansā. *insert screaming here*.
Then of course he says that since itās a solo stage, he prepared his own self-composed song, and he also mentioned āgreat hyungsā (Hong Jisang and Han Jaesung) who helped him compose and arrange it. So when he stops right in front of the edge of the furthermost stage, he says: āAnd today, weāve prepared something specialā ā and he motions to his left for all of us to see a glass piano rise up on stage. *insert more screaming*.
There was also this reoccurring moment when they used āGame Overā for their puns all the time. For example, during the first talking session, they said that they began the concert with a song called āGame Overā, but itās certainly not the end yet. Also, when Wooyoung mentioned about everyone becoming 2PM fans, he said something between the lines of āWhen weāre done with this concert, the people who havenāt been our fans ā Game Overā. And so on.
Also, on a second day, right before he began playing on the piano, Wooyoung said that itās a sweet song, about being in love, and missing someone, wanting to be with that person. And he suddenly declares in his matter-of-fact voice: Itās a story about my friend, not me. Audience: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyy~!! (as in: as if we wouldnāt know lol).
Now, I have a confession to make. I like Wooyoungās solo song, but Iām not head over heels with it, because I donāt really enjoy that kind of Ra.D/Jooyoung style too much. I mean, I can listen to it, and it gets stuck in your head, but after a while all these songs start to sound alike. However, I really liked the performance. I think my favourite part was when he sang playing the piano alone, because when the band joined in, the sound engineering was slightly awkward, and it was hard to hear his voice. I donāt remember much of the song either way, because I was simply staring at him dance, marvelling at how he moves. Oops.
Then of course, after Wooyoung, we have Taecyeon and his Traicion. Another performance that exceeded my expectations. The style suits Taecyeon really well, and sometimes it felt that Taecyeon danced better than the professional JYPEnt dancers, because of a certain posture stiffness that is required for such dances, and something that most of the time hip-hop dancers do not have. It was a bit disappointing that the main female dancerās (who danced with Taec) dress got messed up on the first day and they could not perform all the steps and choreo parts properly, but it was absolutely perfect on the 2nd day. Down to the red rose petals flying on the stage. After the performance they had a small talking session and the boys said that these rose petals were the reason why the stage staff members hated Taecās solo stage the most lol.
They basically had talk sessions after each solo stage part and it was nice to see how they talk about each otherās performances praising each other. For example, on the first day Wooyoung said that he enjoys Chansungās performances a lot, because he always shows something more than just music. While Chansung said that Wooyoung with his performance showed that heās not only good at dancing. In fact, on a second day Chansung said āActually, Wooyoung is known well for his dancing, he even has this nickname ģ¶¤ģ° (춤 = dance, ģ° = Woo)ā. And itās actually a nickname Woo-stans use for him all the time, so when the fans heard Chansung use this word, they screamed their heads off. 2PM members were like: whuuut? 춤ģ°? Whatās that?ā And Chansung was really trying to convince them that this nickname is real. Junho then turned to the audience and asked: Everyone, do you know this nickname?
Fans: YEEEEEEEEEES!!
Junho: ⦠Then what about me..? :/
Fans in the standing area: ģėæģ“ģ“ģ“ģ“!!!
(ģėæģ“ = itppuni is a Korean nickname for Junho. ģ comes from It Nuneo, and ėæģ“ is a slangish construction from ģģģ“ (pretty), so basically, theyāre just saying āprettyyyyā in a way that the pronunciation is adjusted to accommodate a part of Junhoās other nickname lol)
This was the talking segment that had Nichkhunās bday event on the second day. Before the concert they gave away heart-shaped fans, and when Taecyeon with Wooyoung rolled in the birthday cake, everyone raised the fans and sang the Happy Birthday song. Hereās mine, just to prove that Iām not making things up, lol
Then after the celebration, they took a picture together with the audience which JYPENT HAVENāT REVEALED IN HD YET, COME ON!! :/
Also, regarding the overall compositions of solo songs, Minjun joked that Wooyoung had an entire year to practice it, and then he revealed that This Is Love was actually composed a year ago. Then Iām not sure when exactly he commented on 문ė, but I clearly remember him saying that he knows exactly what Hottest felt waiting for them, because he waited for a long time for 문ė to be released as well ā the song was written during AAA days, but it took him over 4 years before it was finally released in Korea. He said that he really wanted to give the song for the fans to listen, but he had to wait as well.
Then on a second day they also joked how with Khunās birthday event theyāre going towards the second half of the concert, and the fans were like: nyuuuuuuuuuuu o(T^T)o, but the guys said that, if they were about to start from the very beginning, they would die, lol. And cue in here Junho singing a part from ģģ ģ¼ė”, saying āI wish I didnāt go to square one again~~~ā Of course, this is where everyone basically bullied Junho into singing the entire chorus ofĀ ģģ ģ¼ė”, with Minjun taking over for this part (it was actually more like Junho shoving the mic into Minjunās face xD), and eventually the audience finished the songās chorus for them. Junho was impressed ^^
Ā So after the Khunās birthday party on the second day, we moved to rock versions of Without U and DSCS.Ā And now I suddenly wonder where the hell have I put this one Without U intro Wooyoung fancam which had all his movement captured in its greatest glory, but of course I mustāve left it in the depths of my Twitter favourite list :/ (found it lol)
Well, anyways, Without U and especially DSCS are one of these songs that gets the audience going, and by the time DSCS ends youāre so hyped up from cheering you flop down on your chair exhausted (or take a bathroom break, because then they show this ridiculously long video about 2PM preparing a cheesy sweet party. Which is exactly what I did lol).
So once the party video is over, here they come in white suits singing I Canāt. It was actually nice how the audience sang along without too much screaming or anything. Hottest definitely love this song. It may get old and slightly overused (just like Thank You), but once you hear it, you automatically start swaying back and forth, singing along. Once I Canāt was over, they moved on directly to Love Song, and it was probably one of the best performances that weekend. They were really enjoying the song themselves, walking around the big perimeter stage, swinging long and dancing when it was their turn to dance (mostly during the chorus part).
I remember mentally photographing all the Khunnuneo moments throughout the concert (mostly because of @retropedia lol), and there were lots of them, but as far as Love Song is concerned, I think the most memorable part was when Minjun and Junho clasped hands when they sang the ātake my handā part during the bridge of the song. For some reason, the Jun-bros (or Jun-sis as Korean fans now call them lol) tend to clasp hands quite often during their songs XD.
After Love Song there came ėŖØė„“ė and the obligatory letās-throw-stuff-at-the-audience section. I have to admit that this is the most active and also the most headache-inducing part of the concert, because you just donāt know where (or who) to look at. The guys were all over the place; throwing these small toys from their baskets as far as the 3rd floor (the venue isnāt that huge after all). In fact, this song is not so much of singing, as just chaos and having fun.
And of course, no one could predict that after this innocent, cute and fluffy ėŖØė„“ė we would have⦠IāM YOUR MAN!!!!! (at least not on the first day).
The audience literally EXPLODED with the first few chords of the song, and I have to admit I screamed my head off myself, I mean come on, seeing Iām Your Man with your own two eyes, for the 3rd time!!!! And this time all of them were healthy and all, and I think we stopped hyperventilating (omg omg Iām your man, omg omg) by the time they entered the chorus of the song.
It was really interesting and hilarious to see how the Korean fans knew all the chants for this song (of course, there were tons of the Japanese in the venue too but whatevs). And Taec didnāt even bother to finish his rap lines before the second chorus, it was like:
Taec: Subete wa kimi no (audience: TAMENI!!!!!!) you know that you can (LEAN ON MEEEEE!!!), itsumo kimi no (SOBANIIIIII!!!!) etc etc.
I have to say I enjoyed it very much, screaming my head off during his rap part on both days lol. And of course, the choreo. *-* No wonder some of the Korean fans are really sorry that this song was released in Japan, because it really is a very very good song with amazing performance, and totally different from their other Japanese releases. When you watch the scene from the centre, my favourite part is that where they sort of punch the air during Iām your Ma-yyeeāyeeeāeh-eh-eh-eh.
So basically, you can imagine the euphoria of the audience once IMY finished and then suddenly the horror when the first chords of B2U played. I actually heard the audience GROAN, lmao. Donāt get me wrong, Korean fans sort of kind of ālikeā B2U. But they canāt stand that itās with female dancers. So after the roller coaster ride with Iām Your Man, B2U felt a bit like a slap in the face, but you canāt deny that the performance for the song is also very impressive and I have to say I liked it that this time the female dancers did not undress themselves. They only did their part as shirt-rippers for the guys lol.
And I almost laughed when almost no one applauded after B2U (on Friday con), I guess the shock after Iām Your Man was too great. However, the reaction to the song was a lot better on a Saturday con. And I know that all the fan photographers were more than happy to shoot them hip sways so itās all cool. Just⦠skip B2U on your next con (yes, ok? And please do All Night Long :3).
(Personally, when you sit in the audience theĀ synchronisedĀ hip-swaying part is my favourite. And I guess it's the only part of the concert, when my eyes wander away from Jang Wooyoung and then back, because his hip sways are so technical and on the spot it's like he's born to do it, but the eyes just wander on their own towards Chansung, involuntarily, because he sways in such a tantalizing way, it HURTS just looking at it, but it's a good kind of pain :x *shuts up*)
After that we had the final solo stage for Minjun!! *-* This I have to say ā even though the most impressive for me on Friday were Chansung and Taecyeon, the solo stage that basically allowed us to party and scream and even thrash the most was TRUE SWAG. It was the best and the most exhilarating solo stage of the night hands down. I mean, you just nod your head and sway your light stick, and want to jump off the chair and dance along, and when Minjun walked to the front stage right before the adlib rap part, he put his hand to his ear, in a sort of ācanāt-hear-youā kind of way, and we screamed and screamed and screamed, and he still kept on listening in, and I thought OMG why do you want more, the entire venue is roaring, lol, my head hurt so much, but it was really fun.
Off topic. Which reminds me. When Wooyoung came out for his solo stage, he did this ācanāt hear you thingā too, but when he said something and the audience replied (I canāt remember the question itās been too long @..@), he was like: Ok, youāre not loud enough⦠Then he repeated the question, and the audience was like: YEAHHHH!!! *scream* He nods, puts the mic to his lips and says in the same not-impressed voice: Ok, now youāre too loud.
XD
Anyways, Minjunie. ^-^b He did make a mistake on first day, by mixing up the lyrics, and in a single moment he went from cool to cute, even Taecyeon mentioned that during the talking section, that it was ok to make such a mistake, because it was cute lol. However, he digested his stage flawlessly on the second day :)
Now somewhere in this whole song list we need to squeeze in 문ė (Suddenly) but I really donāt remember where it goes *-* Maybe it was before I Canāt, or right after Minjunās solo. Either way, thereās nothing much to tell about the song really, except that it was well performed and the audience sang along. I really donāt get where that constantly-screaming-Koreans stereotype comes from, because the only one who screamed during 문ė was the Japanese Junho fan next to me (JUNHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!).
Then we had probably the longest talking session ever. I really loved the 2nd day concert, because they talked a lot more than on the 1st day. I remember Taec asking something about the number sequence on Minjunās Twitter profile, saying, are you revealing your phone number or what. But Minjun said that itās just his motto and 143v spelled out in the numeric form (whatever that would be @.@).
Also, while they were waiting for Minjun after his solo, and then saw him coming back onto the stage, Taec was like: Yes, Mr Junsu, please hurry upā¦ā And once he said it, he was like: ⦠oh crap⦠The audience: Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!! I bet youāve seen fancams of Taec kneeling down and being punished by the members already, lol.
Minjun then gave a very long explanation about how he changed his name, why he did so (nothing we wouldnāt have known already anyways), but Taec insisted that he needs to yell three times I AM KIM MINJUN!!!! (ėė ź¹ėƼģ¤ģ“ė¤!!) out loud, so that it would cement the change and even Taec would no longer mix things up lol. Although Minjun didnāt seem too inclined to do it, he yelled out I AM KIM MINJUN!!!! three times in the end.
Then there was another thing that differentiated the second day concert from the first day. On a second day they said that during their What Time Is It Tour, they sang local song in each country they visited, and then they figured that they should do the same in Korea. They debated whether they should sing Arirang (lol, the most famous Korean folk song), but then they decided upon āthe song that Nichkhun sang during our first concertā, and cue āThe Three Bearsā song, with all the guys illustrating it. Of course, Junho was the best āmomā with his s-line, while Taec did dad, Wooyoung and Chansung (interchangeably) did the baby, and Nichkhun sang. So did we.
Then they also made Junho sing a line from Go Back, since he sang ģģ ģ¼ė” previously. The good thing is that there are fancams for both ā 3 bears song, and Go Back, so I guess I donāt need to illustrate much, except that Junho was explaining that the song is a confession (ź³ ė°± ā the Korean part of the title), but itās not the usual confession. All the time while he was explaining it, Khun was basically lingering on his shoulder, so Junho says: Itās about how you like a person *Khun gets closer*, you love the person really much *Khun gets closer*, and suddenly you fall out of love *Khun gets a shock and slides away*, lol. For some reason it looked like he took it personally xD.
And after the final talking session we had the 2PM disco-trash hit parade with Hot, 10ģ ė§ģ ģ 10ģ and Hands Up. The last two songs are AMAZING when you can party along together. I think chanting is one of the best parts of a concert, because you are part of something, and youāre joining something bigger, instead of just sitting in front of your screen.
For the encore they came back with āģ“ ė øė넼 ė£ź³ ėģģā (Come back when you hear this song), and then they had the good bye talk, with all the thank youās and sorryās, and what not, thanking everyone for having waited for so long, saying sorry for not coming back earlier and promising to be back soon.
Taecyeon said that personally he was very happy with the ending of the con, because of what happened 2 years ago, how he hurt his foot and couldnāt perform Iām Your Man during Hands Up concert. Wooyoung then chipped in: Yes, I was so sad I couldnāt sing through tears. And Taecyeon immediately broke into a teary imitation of Wooyoungās part in IYM: ima~~ anata wo~~ guhskghkhjh . It was so loud and screechy though, but I guess that was the point lol.
Junho kept on saying that they will come back really soon, just please wait a little bit, just a little bit. And they kept on saying that throughout both days, so I guess there will not be a 2 year gap until the next Korean comeback.
Chansung and Nichkhun probably had the most hilarious talking sessions during the second concert. For his final words, Chansung said:
Everyone, there is a saying. Youāre simply pretty when youāre in your 10s, in your 20s youāre pretty because you have to, in 30s you are pretty when you look after yourself⦠*insert enraged fans here and member reprimanding him, as in WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!!!! D: (i.e. granny fandom and all)*
But then Chansung raises his hand: Wo wo~ please listen until the end, alright? But Everyone⦠youāre just⦠simply pretty.
*everyone has a paralysis from too much sugar*
I think Junho went down on his knees, and Wooyoung with Taecyeon pretended they were having seizures until Taec even began screaming from such a corny line lol. But it was hilarious really.
When it comes to Nichkhun, on the 1st day he said that āYou always tell me to stop saying sorry, but I shall say sorry one more time and I will try hard so that the situations for which I would need to apologize would not occur anymore, I sent the bad Nichkhun homeā. (Itās not a word-by-word translation, but itās somewhat what he meant). Then on the 2nd day, he began his talk like this:
Everyone, there is a sayingā¦
Since it was right after Chansungās line, everyone started screaming and laughing, but then Nichkhun launched into the usual thank you and we will work harder to become the best speech until the people in the standing section began shouting that they are the already the best.
Khun: Oh we are the best already? Then what is the word thatās better than ābestā?
And at this moment Ok Ssunny who is at the standing section yells at the top of her lungs: 짱짱맨!!! (jjang-jjang-man, which is sort of an in-word (a slang) for āthe best, the coolestā at the moment, similar to ķ¹ģģ§± a few years back).
Junho hears it and *coughjjangjjangmencough* into his microphone. I think he didnāt mean it seriously, but Khun heard him and then with a completely straight and serious face he says:
I got it. Everyone, we will work hard, and become the best jjang-jjang-men!
*Venue explodes* And so does 2PM, as Khun is sandwiched by Minjun and Junho and then Chansung. I remember laughing so hard, and thanking every single linguistic god out there for actually knowing that slang word (Thank you Twitter lol). It was so hilarious, I couldnāt help myself.
Eventually, for the final encore tracks we had Please Call My Name and remix versions of Iāll be Back and Hands Up. For the first concert, fans had an event during Please Call My Name holding up white placards with 2PM ėæģ“ģ¼ā„ (only 2PM), that were handed out before the concert.
On the second day, there was a fan event AFTER Please Call My Name. They played 문ė again and showed subs on the screen, asking 2PM for attention. The guys were like: Oh what? NOW WHAT?!! They showed heart-felt messages on screen with beautiful fan arts (some of which Iāve posted on my tumblog before), and finally we had to sing the modified version of 문ė (some of the words were modified in the lines of āyouāre always so far away, and youāre always leaving me, but why do I always think of you, Iām so sorry I miss youā).
It was supposed to be touching and all, but the modified lyrics subs were lagging so we sort of sang the original lyrics, and then tried to switch, but then ended up laughing in places, which earned a āWhat is this!! This is not right!!ā from Ok Taecyeon a few times lol. However, in the end, I think the boys got the message.
We also had to fly paper planes during the singing, each had different messages printed on them, and I bet you've seen pics and fancams of the boys reading and gathering these planes already.
Taecyeon was actually pretty excited. When the plane assault subsided, he turned to the audience with a paper plane in hand, saying "It's only ours, right? What should I call it... Special... Er... You did it during our first concert in Busan too... It's only us doing it, right?" He looked kind of happy having found something unique that only Hottest and 2PM do.
All in all, it was a very professional and beautiful concert, and I donāt regret going there, although I spent only a week in Korea, which is ridiculous keeping in mind the flight I need to take to get there, but I couldnāt afford to stay longer because of my work and simply financial matters *sobs*. Now I just hope that they will come to Europe at the end of this year for a concert or something, and if not, Iāll just have to stop eating again and save money for another trip to Korea. Which is totally worth it. Especially as I have so many people to meet and see, 2PM included :)
That would be it, I suppose. If I havenāt mentioned something, then I forgot it, or simply didnāt see it during the con. Man, I canāt wait for a DVD to relive it all.
P.S. Iāve seen comments on Twitter saying that Audrey was there during the concert running on the stage. That was NOT Audrey. That was Hwayoungās dog. Which I think was pretty stupid considering that my eardrums were droning from too much bass, the dog mustāve been terrified.
P.P.S. I enabled Anonymous questions once more, until August. Or until some random annoying question pisses me off. (I donāt publish them, but believe me, I sometimes get really weird inquiries)

Oh, can you give us the links of your fics please~?
Umm, I actually have only one fic that is worth reading and you can find it here:

Also, if you go through āfan-ficā tag on my LJ, you will come across something called De_Hana, but I wouldnāt recommend reading it. Itās an old crack (not finished) written back in 2009 when I was new to the fandom. Basically, De_Hana was something that left me and my friend giggle at 4 am in the morning LOL. Silly stuff.
Jang Woo Young and Xiah Junsu. Don't u think they have the same dancing style?but with different feelings, of course.
They are somewhat similar, and my old-time fandom-clash favourite moment would be a dance battle between Junsu and Wooyoung *w*
They both have hips that have lives of their own, but to my mind their dancing style is different. Wooyoung is more of a street kind while Junsu is more delicate. However, Wooyoung is more subtle when it comes to sexy (?) moves. I was lucky enough to see both of them live and Junsu is⦠well⦠heās not that subtle xD He just goes all the way down, while Wooyoung holds back a little bit, and I love it.
If you were granted 3 wishes from goldfish, what do you want?
Ahhhh⦠Itās the kind of why-you-like-Wooyoung questionā¦
Hmm⦠I donāt really know. I guess I would wish for something I cannot do myself, something thatās beyond my capabilities, but as of now, I donāt think thereās anything. As far as money and comfort and dreams are concerned, Iām sure if I had enough will, I could work towards it. The same for happy family, I donāt think I can ask a goldfish for that, because I have to work towards it too⦠The same as I canāt ask for the world to be cleaned of dumb people. That also wouldnāt be fair lol.
I guess if I were to ask for anything, I would wish for my parents to be always healthy.Ā
