Literally no one asked but here I go explaining his motifs:

I couldn't decide if he was the violin or just an embodiment of the themes so I made his waistcoat to look like a violin (it is driving me a little nuts how the "strings" of his undershirt have more than 4 "strings" but trust me it looks better this way. as a musician i must point this out okay 😂)

His necktie is the rope that hung the gardener in the original show. I've seen concept art of Danse Macabre a couple days ago that showed he was supposed to be in the new attraction, but alas! That's concept art for you. I appreciate how many references they wanted to put into the new ride. Applause 👏

A skull mask, for obvious reasons maybe. All about death, death, death.... But he isn't an evil entity. He's quite playful and social, actually.

Motifs of the gothic arches from the set of the original on his boots, and the trinity on his chest. These are elements I really wanted to include, since the architecture feels so iconic from Spookslot

Skeleton hands... ?! I struggled to draw it bone-like.... but its more like a claw, isn't it? Maybe I can perfect it later, but I really drew this in a hurry! ;;

Chains on his ankles, a reference to the jammerende man from the queue

I wanted to keep the design relatively simple, so I guess I did that! What else.... well, he likes to play violin (yes, he wants to play the main part for the Danse Macabre melody). He plays along with the music, but he wants to be absolutely perfect at it. He's already quite good.
