In the eyes of a lot of people, technology is either good or bad, fascinating or scary. In this case, it is both. When people are unaware of an issue or a topic they either do one of two things: They sit back and stick with the crowd or they assume that the issue is bad. In my opinion, the only people who are actually aware of the effects of Genetically modified food is those who actually took the time and researched it or those who would be affected by Proposition 37. 

Proposition 37 is the topic of LABELING genetically modified food (GMO). Now mind you, the effects of genetically modified food is completely safe. Scientists have put this new food through several tests and it has been recorded and deemed SAFE. Now although it is safe for humans, I am not aware if that also applies to household pets or other animals.

Now, we already have genetically modified food, but there is no label for it. To the curious and unaware eye, this whole issue could look like farmers injecting dangerous chemicals in the food they already eat. The real topic is whether to label it or not as genetically modified.
