Combing was fine, spinning is nice. Feels like some sort of film is on the fiber? Wich is definitely not due to using way to much detergent of only 50g of fleece 😬

I got some wool roving for Christmas and immediately started spinning some yarn with it!
I still have about 10 oz left so there’s more to come. But look at how pretty this yarn is 💕

just finished spinning my first skein of yarn on my new eew 6 spinning wheel 🥹💖
i still have more to do, aka winding it into a skein, giving it a good soak and snap to set the fibers and twist, and then letting it dry… but the most time consuming part is done now!!!
might take a break from spinning to work on my youtube channel, and then some paintings and whatnot for a bit, because i’m starting to really miss those

Those who have a eew 6, what thread/string do you use to replace the tension band?
