Ok small rant time.

For those who don’t know, that’s Nana Mizuki, Hinata’s VA. And it always annoyed me that she got cast as one of the most useless and boring characters in Naruto(fucking fight me, aight?). She’s super fucking cool and has a powerful voice, but some galaxy brain decided that she should just be stuck as Hinata going “N-naruto-kun” for the entire series until that one time she fought Pain where you can actually hear her. You know that filler episode AU? That’s like the only place where I feel they properly utilized her voice.

And I’m not saying it’s Hinata’s fault in particular, no. I want to like her, but she’s just written like shit, so I can’t and won’t. Imagine what a fucking Gentle Fist badass she could have been if she was written better. She could have been a badass and still been shy and cute(+ there’s a lot more to being shy and cute than whatever the fuck Hinata is supposed to be), it’s not an impossible combo. Instead she exists in the story so Naruto can get together with someone at the end that isn’t Sasuke. It’s bullshit and stupid and I hate it.
