15th june; Eddie & the Son Who Adores Him. Who among us does not adore the bright ray of sunshine that is Christopher Diaz? This is your chance to show just what this father and son duo mean to each other. From morning routines to playing hooky from school to hang out with each other, these two do it all with a lot of love and laughter.Â
16th june: Mr. Diaz Goes to Therapy. Oh our sweet cinnamon roll. Who needs help with communication and feelings more than Eddie? No one. Show us his breakthroughs, his methods of self-care, his journey to forgiving himself. Whether it’s with Frank, a different therapist, or with a cuddly little emotional support animal, Eddie needs some therapy and we’re gonna give it to him.
17th june: Eddie y su Abuela. What would Eddie’s life be without Isabel Diaz? Honestly the Diaz boys would be a lot worse off if they had to rely on Eddie’s cooking and we know it. We need Abuela giving Eddie some acceptance, love, and grace—or some good old fashioned matriarch wisdom—in our lives.
18th june: Between the Sheets. We honestly don’t need to give you direction for this, do we? Go make Eddie feel good, either with his idiot husband or by himself.Â
19th june: Eddie and his Idiot Husband. You knew this one was coming. What’s an Eddie week without Buck? These two are attached at the hip and we are here. for. it. Whether or not Buck is actually Buck Diaz, Idiot Husband, or just metaphorically his idiot husband, this is the day where their relationship can be displayed in all it’s snappy, mushy glory.
20th june: We Are Family. If 3x15 and 3x16 and 3x17 … ah hell, if this show has taught us anything, it’s that the firefam is here to stay. Eddie’s relationships with Bobby, Chim, and Hen are just as meaningful as the others! What do they get up to on family nights? Just how often is Eddie the brunt of Hen and Chim’s teasing? Birthdays, holidays, date nights—we want it all, found family style.
21st june: Happy Father’s Day. Edmundo Diaz, #1 Dad. It’s about time we all celebrate just how hard he works for his kid with a day for Eddie to relax in style—breakfast in bed? Christopher planning the outing for the day and proudly paying for it with his own money? And well, if you want Chris to celebrate both his idiot dads on this day … we aren’t complaining.
