Live recordings from The Edhuntour (1999) that were released as "B-sides" for the Brave New World era singles are pretty amazing performances and (with pretty much any live footage from 1999!) worth checking out on YouTube etc. if you're not familiar with them already; the energy level in the band, after Bruce and Adrian coming back, was pretty insane! Bruce really delivers on Man on the Edge and Futureal (not that there's anything wrong with Blaze's performance either - he did great too!) and Aces High sounds pretty amazing. And just listen to the power and determination that goes into the Wasted Years chorus right after the intsrumental break... Wow. I just wish they'd have recorded and released some of those Stranger in a Strange Land performances before it was dropped from the set after five shows. Well, wishful thinking and all, but I hope they'll finally dust that one (too) off this year; of all the "forgotten" classics they haven't played for ages, I'd say that this one and Flight of Icarus have pretty good chances to be featured, actually. Icarus more so though.
