I just came to the conclusion that I am more willing to follow a self- love list from a pic off of Pinterest then I am to listen to myself. I don’t even like exercise or eating vegetables or putting makeup on. Why would I want to follow a post from someone who doesn’t even know me instead of actually asking myself... “Hey, maybe we should try a new art style, or learn to draw hands” “Maybe we should try new teas and see if we can find a new favorite?” “Maybe we should actually stop biting our nails off when we are anxious and try to rather draw or journal all of our feelings” 

Maybe I should stop being so afraid of getting to know myself. Maybe I should be a little more willing to spend time alone, with my own thoughts and opinions and stop trying to follow a trend or do things I don’t like...

I think I’ll actually prefer my own company more than I prefer someone else’s. This coming from a professional overthinker and a pro of paranoia.
