If you are a new vaper, then you probably get the different types of vape juice tanks to be confusing. E-juice tanks come in various shapes, design, color, and most importantly sizes or capacity to suit your vaping needs. An e-liquid tank capacity can range from as small as 1 ml to a massive 6 ml capacity by some large tanks. There are typically three different types of tanks for e-cigarettes in the market today which come in many sizes as outlined below: Tanks and Atty Kits Tanks and atty combo-kits feature a three-part tank system like the Aurora. Atty stands for atomizer. An atomizer connects to a tank filled with e-juice and then attached to a battery to produce vapor. The only disadvantage of these tanks is that while they are larger than the cart on a three-piece system, they can only hold 1 to 1.5 mls of e-liquid. Tank Cartos Tank cartos are over-sized cartomizers that hold 5 ml's of e-juice and are mostly seen in dual coil fashion that holds 6ml. Perhaps you do not know what a dual carto is, worry not; I'll do you a favor and explain. There is a coil that heats the e-liquid inside every cartomizer, and this can either be used the same way an atty works by being laid in a horizontal position at the bottom of the carto or a vertical position through the polyfill. WOW cartos and CoolCarts feature a single vertical coil that heats the vape juice. A second coil is added to the grounding wire on dual coils to give you the fascinating experience of lower resistance vaping without easily burning the filler and muting the flavor in a similar manner as a low as ohm single coil. Their disadvantage is that they use twice the amount of power a single 3.0-ohm coil uses. This means you might get a high-quality vape, but you will have a shorter battery life. Dual coils are usually hard on batteries and should only be used with Stealth series batts and V4L's Vapor King Diamond along with higher mah fat batts. Tank cartos are suitable for vapers using fat batts or seeking to avoid complications of the last type of tank. Their drawback is that they don't just fit on every battery type without an adapter. It also looks somehow funny in an analog style batt (like Vapor King Diamond) Carto Tanks These are two-piece systems that are turned into three parts. The carto inside the tank is normally punched so that the vape juice is derived from the tank around it through a vacuum effect from taking a draw. The most common carto tanks come in a variety of 3.5ml and 6ml. Although they look better to some vapers, they are far more complicated to fill than the tank cartos. They can easily fit on any KR808 battery (but this might not be a guarantee) and will give you an added benefit of being able to see when the tank needs to be refilled. Another benefit is that the tank can be reused. This is possible as you only need to replace the carto inside it. When switching e-juices, clean the tank out and always keep in mind that some flavors are harder to do away with than others. Before getting a carto tank or tank carto, ensure you have a 3.5 to 6 ml's e-juice go to flavor picked out that you will enjoy vaping until it is gone. So, which of these tanks do you prefer? Now you can easily make your decision on which to purchase.
