#echo's reign

Current there are three different storylines occurring at once in my clan. Echo’s Reign has ended with her demise and a new line is beginning with Paean in the position of leadership. Saevus, Luvenis, and Alexander are still away on Sae’s Quest. Migora and Reina have traveled back to the Lightning Territory and are on their way to encounter Andromeda with the small clan she has formed under the direct employment of Stormcatcher in Andromeda’s Reign.

A lair purge has led to the removal of a large amount of my dragons. This post will serve as a list of what is removed and what canonically occurred to them. Saccharo - Left with Avarren in search of a better home. Avarren - Left with Saccharo in search of a better home. Mel - Perished under the harsh conditions set by Echo. Ventus - Allowed his the mortal form he inhabited to perish, continues on as a spirit. Eldan - Driven away by Andromeda for being a general nuisance. Mica - Perished under the harsh conditions set by Echo.  Echo - Perished. Rekka - Perished at the hands of the darker side of the clan. Ignisia - Attacked and driven away when she surfaced to meet with Avellatur.

Vetus has completely vanished ever since Saevus’s departure. Echo shouts and calls into his den on a near hourly basis with demands to defend the clan from Plaguebringer’s wrath, but the being refuses to show themselves. The clan that Echo has carved is not the sort of clan they wish to support. If the clan wants their assistance, they’re going to have to make some major changes.

Ignisia went into hiding during Echo’s leadership in order to avoid confrontation and assault from her followers. She sunk deep into the depths of her magma pit and rests, only rising to see Avellatur or any others who seek a peaceful audience with her.

Latara is a guardian that joined with the clan during Echo’s reign after hearing of their change of heart lately. She appreciates Echo’s survivalist independent choice and doesn’t really care if others are oppressed or mistreated because of it. The guardian is quick to get to work and has taken a strong position as one of Echo’s more trusted allies.

Echo absolutely believes she is doing what is best for the clan for their survival. Unfortunately, her beliefs don’t exactly clash well with the clan’s more well-known members as well as the Plague Mother herself. She wishes for the clan to become ruthless and strong-true survivors. She has considered the idea that perhaps she might be going a tad overboard, but surely it’s not her fault that everything in the world seems to be against her! She just needs to work harder, right?

Blessed dragons are no longer welcome among the clan as the clan follows no specific deity. Ignisia and Mistral are treated with disdain from Echo and heavily suppressed in their rights. The two continue to stay, however, for their connections within the clan. Those that support Echo also treat them with disdain.

Kyandi is now being used as bait for travelers. His kind and bigheartedness is genuine and appeals to other dragons frequently. The more nefarious dragons within the clan unleash him into the desert and follow him in search of travelers in need of being relieved of all of their supplies. Kyandi is completely kept in the dark of what he is actually doing, believing to be helping them.
