That’s not quite an Arquitens. It’s got extra engines and what appears to be proper hangers capable of servicing star fighters. Must be a new ship, or a variant.
In depth Star Wars Nerd, Thrawn:
In Chapter 12, when Moff Gideon is standing next to the dark troopers, you get a good look at their height. Giancarlo Esposito is 5’8”. I added an inch to that since his boots have heels. Based on that, the Dark Troopers are 83.6 inches, or 6’11.6” tall. I used the shot of them exiting the port hangar to approximate the size of the underbelly, being ~19.5 meters tall. Since the ship has the same silhouette of the Arquitens I, that would mean the cruiser is approximately 462 meters long.

The new Imperial cruiser looks good. While ILM have used some excellent CGI, I have to say that I love how they use miniatures to make their ships look good. The Razor Crest was a miniature. And though they used CGI, blending with the minitaure gives us some spectacular shots! See how none of the lines are exactly straight? Like the ISD in rogue one, if you pay attention, the modellers have given a lot of attention to detail and this make it look a lot more realistic! And see this part which is lifted just a bit because of the thin layer glue under it? This is not a CGI model, no I think that just like the Razor Crest someone lovingly crafted this miniature which is why the ship looks so good. I think we are returning to the golden age of Miniatures!

If you like Star Wars spaceships and fleets as much as I do...or...half as much as I do...these videos are phenomenal.
It’s a few obsessive fans studying the background ships in The Empire Strikes Back that never come up in canon and turning them into actual ships, and every video is so beautifully produced and detailed that I readily accept them as Canon.Â
And this design is one of the best!
