"Oh~? You suddenly care about me now?" Ember laughed, which became a nervous and awkward giggle when the stoic black hedgehog only stared back. Clearing her throat, she went back to working on the machine that had had her preoccupied for the last few days and nights.

"You're goin' t'either way so get it over wit'."

His focus was less on the ebony hedgehog's snark and on other matters at the moment — namely his injured leg. It wasn't the first time it had been absolutely mauled like it had been if that scar that ran along the back was any indication of that. Still, he didn't seem at all phased by it. Not one bit. He had a high tolerance for pain which was sometimes seen as a blessing but also a curse too.

Instead, he set to the task at hand and managed to snap the bone back into place with barely a hiss. Ripping the fabric off the end of his gloves to tighten around the appendage and give keep it in place till he could probably deal with it. His gaze returning back to the Ultimate Lifeform and standing back up.

"We're good t'go — "

"I said I was fine."

"If you were 'fine', then these wounds wouldn't have gotten so bad. Now hold still." She hated bringing out the "mother hen" voice; she had been accused of being bossy in the past. But there was concern in her voice, making ut clear she was worried about the other. She set about gently cleaning said wound on Ebony's arm with peroxide, then grabbing wrapping gauze, wrapping it somewhat tight around the area before sealing it with medical tape. Least the worst was taken care of. Everything else was small cuts,and just needed to be cleaned.

{➹} – WELL THIS WAS embarrassing. Maybe the blue hedgehog should have known better than to go running in that part of the forest, but restlessness was something he only knew how to deal with in one way. Winter or not, he wanted to burn off the excess energy. The terrain, however, had other plans for him.

Specifically the patch of black ice he had slipped on, and continued to slip on until he hit a tree with enough force to scare off a few poor birds.

And to top it all off a mound of snow had fallen on him, really adding insult to injury. Though nothing stung the hedgehog's pride quite as much as knowing that someone had seen the whole thing.
