He had been sitting all by himself, placed in the back corner of the establishment. Not a single muscle moved; he was seemingly lost in thought as he stared at his drink, the warm amber liquid disrupting as the other approached. The hooded hedgehog let out what sounded like a mixture of a snort and scoff. Had he came across that alone? Regardless, he gestured the other to sit across from him.

　Quills and fur caked with mud he looked up at the rabbit, tiredness clear on his face. He had been running for days at this point, all to stop the mad doctor's latest plan, but kept having things blow up on him...Literally. He couldn't have anyone see him like this, not when so many rested their peace and freedom on him.

   {➹} – IT WASN'T THAT the hero didn't like the rain, just that he didn't see the thrill in willingly getting wet. Something most could, rightfully, chalk up to his phobia. He was more than happy to watch it from inside his home, even loved storms to an extent as long as they stayed outside. Clearly not the same mindset the one he saw dancing in the rain had.

He was worried about her, yes, but part of him couldn't help but find her carelessness refreshing at the same time. Still, he was glad when she took his offer and joined him in the humble dwelling.

"Then you ought t' come in before you get too...humid?" Was that a thing? Probably not. Now he just sounded silly. Maybe he was for willing letting a stranger into his home but being overly friendly was a trait of his. One he saw no problem with.

"I'll get you a towel. Feel free t' make yourself at home."
