Hey in the Ear Biscuits where Link says “rhett I can’t be the centre of your happiness”, what are they actually talking about? I can’t find the episode
To be fair, this is something that has been kept in the common Mythical memory as heartbreaking and emotional but the truth is that... it isn't all that serious??? lol
They are talking about a trip to Amsterdam where they got into a cheese place and were trying different types of cheese. As you can imagine, this was Rhett's highlight of the trip and he was anxious to see whether Link would brush the cheeses off (as usual) or would engage in the experience. To his delight, Link tried the cheese samples but okay he wouldn't call this a highlight which still frustrated Rhett slightly.
Rhett explains why and how important it is to him to share experiences he enjoys with the people he cares about and Link finds the opportunity for the joke "that he can't always be the one to enjoy something for Rhett's sake and thus be the center of his happiness". If you see it, you 'll get that it was mostly meant as a joke. Link kinda tries to make it deep or fake deep but Rhett doesn't engage to that at all and they continue talking about other stuff. I don't think it was very serious anyway.

Just wanna share this broken feelings:( in EB#90 when rhett really explain and shows how happy he is when link likes the same thing, sharing the same experiences with him, and out of nowhere link's replying lile he's not always can do that and will replace himself for other people to do that (for making rhett happy) and rhett responses to that he's just talking continuing their vacation story saying things like windmill, canall, trying to ignore it until link stops. My heart hurts🥺😭
Oh yes, I remember that. Link can make Rhett so happy. ;__;

I have mixed and confused views about Randl and religion. On the one hand I am interested to hear them talk about their faith and beliefs but on the other hand maybe I don’t actually want that, because if they were to talk about their Christianity I might find out something about them I’d rather not know. I like to assume or maybe just hope that they are liberal Christians who are not homophobic, who interpret and think about their faith rather than just believe everything they read in the bible, who don’t think Christians are better than those of other faiths or no faith. But what if they are not? What if Rhett or Link really do think that only those who accept Jesus as their personal saviour are going to heaven but Muslims and Atheists and Pagans are going to hell. I don’t think I could deal with that, so perhaps it is better that they always just refer people to that statement they made some years ago. To be honest I started thinking about all this after Monday’s Ear Biscuit. Their attitude to Arsenic.com annoyed and offended me. As it seemed to have an air of Christian superiority about it, which I dislike intensely.
