Peep Popcorn Balls are a delightful Easter treat that combine the sweetness of candy-coated chocolate eggs and marshmallows with the crunchiness of popcorn. These can be made quickly and are a great snack or addition to Easter gatherings.
Ingredients: 6 cups popped popcorn. 3 cups mini marshmallows. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1 cup pastel-colored candy-coated chocolate eggs Easter candy. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Put the candy-coated chocolate eggs and the popped popcorn in a big mixing bowl. Melt the butter and marshmallows in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Transfer the liquefied marshmallow blend onto the popcorn and chocolate eggs. Add a little salt. Mix everything quickly and gently with greased hands until everything is coated evenly. Form the mixture into balls as soon as possible, pressing down firmly to compact. Before serving, let the popcorn balls cool and solidify.
