Ah, I see another Earthbound kin here! Hello and Greetings.
On Porky, it’s a bit complicated for me. I did not really know much about him. I have two canons for Jeff that are vastly different, but I will omit the second one as I don’t wish to be too coarse.
Porky was Ness’ friend, I know that much. But by the time I first met Porky, there was already a fissure between them. It seems they were pretty close, but Porky somehow got it in his head that Ness hated him, and started acting really mean. Paula seemed to not like Porky and had some sort of beef (beef??) with him before I showed up (again). Both of them seemed irritated with Porky and I was sort of left in the dark because the first time I ever saw him was on the helipad.
I expect Giygas’ influence and the manipulative and neglectful adults were the problem. They just have gotten into his head and caused him to act out like that. Maybe if there was a good role model, then he would have turned out better. He was quite good at handling machines, based on what little I saw. Had he chosen a path that was not laced in doom, I think we could have been friends. Perhaps even coworkers in the future. Ness still believed in him. I don’t think it was too late, not back then. But after the whole, everything, I never saw him again. I don’t think any of us did. If Ness did, he didn’t say anything to anyone, not even Paula. After that, though, if source is anything to go by… It was probably too late.
…My father did disappear one day. But aside from source, I have no reason to suspect Porky. I suppose I will never know.
