After I finish my JLI re-read I’m thinking about reading all appearances of earth-3 for the hell of it before jumping into Starman - I don’t know I really do like earth-3 as a concept I just feel like they squandered the whole “villains turned heroes” aspect of it with only Lex and a couple Batman rouges ever getting spotlighted, I know in the first comic appearance it’s that Lex is the first hero and in the animated adaptation it’s that he’s the only hero left, but that just doesn’t sound right to me your saying that prime earth where there’s a 10 to 1 villain to hero ratio that in a opposite world none of these guys would step up? Come on

This is dated but an idea I like for a heroic incarnation of Earth-3 Mazahs is instead of it being Alexander Luthor it would be Alexander Luthor Jr. It would keep with the "kid with an aged up alternate form" like Billy and would create some interesting scenarios of Jr trying to keep it a secret from his dad.

Like Alexander Luthor can still be a superhero, and he probably wouldn't want Jr to get hurt, while Jr would probably keep heroing despite that and could lead to good drama.

Plus it'd finally make Luthor Jr a good guy again after Infinite Crisis and N52 JL making him evil (and in the latter case, Darkseid??? idk)

Understandably posting Mr Freeze content again means earth3!Nora is getting attention again. Which is great! I love her! But it’s also brought back to my attention that my art of her up to this point makes her look way too put together. She’s not a cool wizard, she’s a boxer that sometimes lights herself on fire

#I’ve also never mentioned that she carries canisters of cryogenic fluid around because even on earth 3 her body still is a bit shit #being burn proof but not boil proof and requiring regular artifical cooling #like Cynn Numair in White Noise the color of the smoke she produces is something of a health singnifier #dark smoke means she’s getting internally hot enough to start lighting anything that’s not an organic part of her body #while white steam is usually the result of recently downing cryogenic fluid #the more you know!#my art #Nora Fries #earth three #earth 3
