" he lets out possibly the fakest sounding laugh ever, despite swearing that he was a better liar than this. but could he be blamed? the whole day had been a shit storm of unfortunate events, and frankly, even he was getting tired of pretending that love always all they needed.

                    " why can't we get the cheese sticks? i let you get the jerky last week, so this week i want the cheese sticks! is this really how you treat someone who graced you with compromise? "

“You know, I should probably be concerned that I get that as often as I do,” Morgan said, rubbing his hands along his face to try and wake himself up a little bit more. It felt like pretty much the only thing that he could do, considering that he was admittedly feeling a little woozy. He had never been very good at taking care of himself. “But I’m made of sturdier stuff than I look.”

"Alright, who am I beating up?"

freddie's  brow  furrows  with  concern  as  he  regards  hayul,  a  flicker  of  worry  igniting  in  his  warm,  hazel  eyes.  "you  know  i  can't  help  but  worry  about  you."  he  murmurs  gently,  his  tone  laced  with  a  tenderness  that  belies  his  own  better  judgment.  deep  down,  freddie  knows  he  should  refrain  from  fretting  over  hayul's  wellbeing,  especially  after  their  tumultuous  falling-out,  but  his  caring  nature  simply  won't  allow  him  to  abandon  him  in  a  time  of  evident  distress.  "it's  not  nothing  if  it's  got  you  wearing  the  same  hat  you've  always  worn  when  you're  upset."  though  a  part  of  him  wonders  if  he  should  take  the  hint  and  leave,  freddie  ignores  that  inclination,  his  unwavering  concern  for  hayul's  welfare  outweighing  all  else.
