Aizawa x fem!reader
At first, Aizawa thought it wasn't gonna last long at all, he wasnt at all prepared to love someone for more then a week... but when days continued to pass with no signs of a breakup... he was shook. Normally, when he looked at the relationships that Nemuri went through, they were toxic and barely lasted on the first date. But when he was first introduced to you.. he could sense that you weren't at all like the others who tried to get with him (but failed miserably at even impressing him).
Which is why, now, when he wakes up next to you he remembers that.. "maybe their are some good things out there.."
Definitely the nervous type, he will panic over the smallest things to appease you. He was lazy before, but with you? He has more motivation to do stuff, like train more, do house chores, and go grocery shopping.
Aizawa normally gets home late, so dates are sorta rare but not to the point that its insufferable. But, each time he gets the chance, he makes up for it. He doesnt do resturant dates, he's more of a sit home and chill guy. Though, who says those types of dates aren't amazing? You both will sit on the couch, his arm lazily draped over your shoulders while you two watched a show you both agreed on, snacks sitting on the table infront of you.
It'll be awkward for him, then again, who isnt awkward when they first start dating someone? Everytime you two do go out, Hizashi or Nemuri is ALWAYS there to tease you two about the littleist things. god forbid both of them are there...
You two cant even hold hands without the two snooges awing at you, Aizawas face would immediently go red and he'd cover his mouth and nose with his binding cloth (scarf)
Aizawa is the type of guy to be a silent jealous person, if someone comes up to you and starts flirting, he'll just sit there, his eyes tense and dark. Though it gets to a point. Once he's fed up he'll place his hand on your lower back, scooting in just enough to tell the person to back off.
Your arguments aren't full blown fights, they're more like... debates? For example, Aizawa loves black coffee, but you like the sweet caramel one (just an example), you two would have a debate on which is better, though it never turns into a fight, since Aizawa is all about rationality he wont break up with you over a different opinion.
Once you two are really comfortable with eachother, you finally start calling eachother by your first names (even throwing some pet names in there). Aizawa wouldn't call you any corny type of pet name though, the man is in his 30s, he will cringe himself out if he calls you stuff like 'baby cake' (🤮) He will definitely say your first name more then he says pet names. He finds it more endearing then 'babe' or 'baby'
And finally, the first 'I love you'. He definetly says it first, whether he was drunk, or really tired that night. It was late and you two were cuddling, the sheets messy, his hair tied back into a bun. He mumbled it into your shoulder blade, you were awestruck from those words coming from his lips. He hugged you extra hard that entire night, and you did the same.
So yeah, he's basically inlove with you by the first month. Though before yall even got together, he did some deep diving to make sure you weren't some sort of gold digger or some villain in disguise. He HAS to make sure of this before becoming vulnerable to you. Though, once he knew for sure that you werent any of those things, he had Hizashi set you two up.
