Well, this was certainly interesting.

She had heard tell of those with what a few of the locals had not-so-affectionately coined as deformities, perhaps in fear of the differences. Or perhaps in jealously of their not having them; Haru knew not which was more fitting of them. Regardless, she was curious if nothing else, though... perhaps she could have picked a better outlet for that curiosity than attempting to idly bat at the other’s dangling... were those cords, like on a pair of headphones?

       He hasn't found crabs in such a long time that he forgot exactly how to catch them like he used to, although muscle memory follows through and he gathers quite a few of them. Triumphantly, he cooks them, setting them aside since they always taste better when they're warm -- just not piping hot. Easier to get down, too. He eats one of the cooler ones, and the flavor of it practically brings him to tears ( not quite, though ), and next thing he knows he's shoving them into his mouth one after another as quickly as he's able to.

       It's then that he turns his attention away from the remaining few crabs, locking eyes with someone else who was watching him for god knows how long, and he pauses mid-shove of another crab into his mouth, to which he lowers it, wiping his mouth with the back of his gloved hand.

       What do you even say to something like this? To someone who caught you doing something kind of embarrassing, when he thinks about it. But, he was just eating, so it's not that bad...

☕️: Do you prefer coffee or tea? Why?

“...Tea. I’m not supposed to have coffee. It makes me... jumpy.”

“But Kousetsu-niisama makes good tea. I think he likes it a lot better than I do, though.”

🍺: What are some traditions that you have? What do they mean to you?

“Ah... I’ve been around for centuries, so traditions have come and gone beyond my notice. I don’t see how a sword can truly have values of its own. It simply becomes an extension of its wielder.”

7. How do they physically engage with other people, inanimate objects, and their environment? What causes the differences between these? 

He doesn’t touch people (except to harm them, or when they touch him first), and has a keen sense for where they are to keep a respectful distance from everyone without looking up-- and to keep an ear out for danger, of course. Inanimate objects don’t get the same manners, though he does tend to handle them gently even if they’re not fragile. As for the world around him, he tries to pass through it without leaving any sign he’s been around. He’s just... soft and subtle, except when he needs to be otherwise.

18. What kind of person could they become in the future? What are some developmental paths that they could take, (best, worst, most likely?) what would cause them to come to pass, and what consequences might they have? What paths would you especially like to see, and why?

The fact Gintama characters don’t age doesn’t help him gain the emotional maturity he needs.

In Citta: Best case scenario, he mellows out while still holding firm to his beliefs, and only fights when it’s necessary. Stops murdering people, works on his bad habits, evens out somewhere closer to true neutral. Worst case scenario, he gets in with every wrong crowd possible, embraces the hopeless chaos of this world and forgets why he did things before, and basically becomes a villain who ruins lives for fun because what else is there to do? Most likely scenario, he stubbornly stays about the same but slowly forms both positive and negative relationships and associations that all slowly shape him into... well, who knows. I kind of just want to wait and see what develops, don’t have anything in particular in mind. Especially not the best case that’d be boring
