Sorry I’ve gone missing for a bit. My earache turned out to be a little more serious than I thought. The Dr. put me on some serious meds that are making me feel like crud (besides already feeling like crap). I have to go back Tuesday to make sure everything is ok. 

There are a few other things going on besides that as well. My main pc is acting weird. I may have to reinstall windows. Sooooo yeah......and that means installing everything else again. Going to try a few things first though. I really don’t want to reinstall everything. I quite frankly just don’t have the initiative to do it. Especially if I lose everything. I’mma just let it all go if that’s the case. 

idk....let me see how i feel next week. Anyways, I think I’m going on an extended mini hiatus officially. I’m having to use my laptop right now. And it doesn’t have any sims on it. It has my Cities Skylines on there. I’ve been playing that while I recover. Might post a few of those pictures. Nothing to fantastic. I’m a sorta vanilla player. I use the mods and like 2 assets. lol. Just enough to make the vehicle AI work and not be annoying. 

 Rudbeckia hirta 

Also known as the Black-Eyed Susan is a beautiful bright wildflower. Identifying this plant is always exciting considering its inflorescence being so distinct BUT one of the main give-aways is the very VERY visible dark center. The Black-Eyed Susan is apart of the Aster Family which really means “Daisy”. When the idea of a Daisy pops in your head you can imagine bold petals and a cone center. This family is also distinguished by hidden flowers, flowers that at first glance it looks as if they’re may be one but instead its a cluster of smaller flowers. Leaves on this specific plant are oblong/ lance shaped, and furry! They are known for having alluring yellow flowers and the center is a very deep brown color. 

This beauty is found all around North America and is widely cultivated but is typically found in fields, roadsides, and waste places. You can get the medicinal value from its roots having anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antioxidant properties. In some cultures they have used this herb for...

a root tea to cure worms and colds / cough

a wash was used for sores, snakebites, and swelling

root juice for earaches

It is said this root tea can have similar affects as an Echinacea tea would to treat colds and cough.

SOLAR ECLIPSE 

I hope you all got to experience the eclipse in some way on the 21st! I wasn’t able to look at it directly but while walking through the woods to my workday I saw the most intriguing sight. 

Magneton is a robot-like Pokémon, the result of three Magnemite becoming linked together by a strong magnetic force, although a single Magnemite can evolve by itself when there are no other Magnemite in the vicinity. The three Magnemite that Magneton consists of can be linked in several ways. Magneton is most commonly seen as one Magnemite on top, and two Magnemite linked by the screws on the bottom, forming a triangle. In some cases, commonly seen in 3D games such as Pokémon Snap, the Magnemite will not be connected at all, remain in a triangular formation at rest, and are able to freely move within each other's vicinity to form other patterns. In this case, all three Magnemite have three screws. The magnetic forces that hold the three Magnemite together are powerful enough to dry up all moisture and raise the temperature by 3.6 °F (2 °C) within a radius of 3,300 feet (one kilometer). It can also be disruptive to electronic devices and induce earaches. It uses powerful radio waves to help it study the surrounding area.

Magneton's anti-gravitational powers enable it to fly through the air. Being composed of three Magnemite, it is about three times as powerful electrically, though not three times as intelligent. Even though Magneton is a mechanical creature, it still needs to eat. As seen in the Pokémon the Series episode The Poké Spokesman, food for Magneton consists of electrical currents. It is usually found in rough terrain, often near power plants.

Many of the meds we use come from China. We are starting to see shortages in these items. Time to look at natural remedies and stock up on those items.
