Getting Situated { Closed; Prompt. }
"Mm..This should go over here." Tapping the box with her foot Morgiana slowly slid it over against the wall, after doing so she crouched down to open it pulling out the few outfits she had received prior to a few days before enrolling. She sighed, thinking how poor she must seem compared to everybody here. Only able to afford four separate sets of clothes really didn't help with her self esteem. It felt like everyone was looking at her as she carried her small box of belongings to her dorm room. She couldn't help that it wasn't in her budget to treat herself to luxuries such as clothes and before coming here, it was just a daily struggle to find things to eat (thankfully though, she'd had the help of Aladdin and Alibaba.).
Frowning, she took a seat on the ground only to pull her knees close to her chest and stare at the wall. Maybe this isn't what she had wanted after all. Maybe staying with Jamil would've been okay..for a little while longer.
Having enough of feeling sorry for herself, Morgiana rose to her feet and went back to her box, pulling out a single small rag doll. It was a simple doll. Brown in color and had black buttons for eyes and that small smile stitched across it's face. When people looked at it, they might consider it garbage but to her it was practically the world. Now walking over to her bed she placed it on the side of her pillow, a small smile now on her face as well as she looked at the little doll.
"Even if no one else will be there for me, I know you will." It was comforting. Comforting to know that she could confide in someone, something, anything. This little doll would be her shoulder to lean on until she found someone here who could do that for her. She was fine though. Fine with just having her doll even. She didn't need anybody else besides her doll or Alibaba and Aladdin. But if she needed anybody she would guess that her roommate would become that person. That person she could always run to if there was something wrong. That person who she could confide in if she needed advice.
Things were starting to look up now for the young fanalis. Her negative mindset had been pushed away to the farthest corners of her mind. It was probably for the best anyways. Having a negative mindset wasn't going to get her anywhere. It would only make her life even more miserable than it was before she came here. "Yes..this will be my new home," she mumbled quietly. Without another word she climbed onto her bed and grabbed her little rag doll holding it close to her chest and closed her eyes.
