Small little something from science today

Once they've kissed and were honest, Nubsib is shameless. Like Gene told him to, he just says what he thinks and I like yhis version of him a lot better. And Gene does too. And I think yhe director does a goid job in making the audience like Nubsib because in Gene's eyes, he is now someone he has feelings for. This feeling gets carried through the screen quite well.

But seriously, how does Lovely Writer manage to be so good when there are so many chessy dialogues? Their whole sweet-talk is so cheesy and cringey sometimes but I can endure and find it rather cute. How do they do that? I'm impressed.

What I live mostly about this show is the tone and how they switch it. On one hand, we have a love story which basically makes fun of the way the characters are acting and talking in cliché Thai BLs and on the other hand we have the life of a writer who struggles to navigate in this Thai BL industry. Both stories contain of many hidden criticism. For example Gene calling Nubsib out for lying and even though after they've kissed and stuff, he's still saying it was wrong and he needs time to trust him again. Or the fact BLs - shows and novels - are often reduced to the "juicy" scenes which get the audience screaming but not focusing on the messege the author wants to send out and in the end all the audience cares about are these scenes.

Wow, things took a sharp turn I would say. Worrying about telling your parents... a bit too soon I guess but okay whatever. I'm not an expert in relationship stuff. But I like Nubsib is not pressuring Gene. First I thought he would because he keeps saying all the time he's waiting for Gene to say he like him which puts pressure on Gene. But now I see, Nubsib is really okay with Gene needing more time and even helps him when he's pressuring himself because Gene thinks too much about the future. Like I said, this show switched from cheesy romance to serious criticism to a mature and open converasation about their relationship. The real goodness only just started. Now, Lovely Writer proves itself to be as much of a good show as everyone expected.

The fan event... I've never been to one of those and I will never be. This is just awkward and kind of uncomfortable. I still don't understand how you can cheer someone on this much because they still are oridnary people and not on a higher level than you. Theg don't stand above you. I will never understand it, I think.

But Aoey is so rude, for a second I was scared Gene can't handle it but turns out Gene is not such an introvert and speaks up. I though he was the shy person standing in the back but I guess I was wrong. We've all been wrong. He gajned a lot of self-confidence since he and Nubsib got together.
