Topic for day 12 is E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy. I played it a lot more fast and loose coloring this one and I think it turned out great.

I understand why E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy has its janky reputation, but that makes it all the more interesting for the many parts that are legitimately good or interesting game design.
For example, every human enemy has a largely monochrome dark outfit, with the exception of lighter colouration on their head. This makes it very easy to process visually, even at long range, and encourages you to aim for quick headshots by literally highlighting them. In addition, the head highlighting tells you their faction:
Two glowing eyes? Federation.
Three glowing eyes? Jian.
Glowing crossbars? Culter.
Exposed pale skin? Raider.
You know what and who you're looking at very quickly and respond accordingly, all within a monochrome aesthetic.
The typical alien footsoldiers aren't designed with head highlighting, but instead you'll find their head (or equivalent weak point) is placed in front of their centre of mass, meaning you're naturally aiming for headshots whenever they're charging at you, giving them a just-in-time weakness. It all helps to give a very pleasing combat system.
