emma’s just gotten here, let’s a say a few hours? she’s woken up in dc and has to say she’s not too happy about it. she doesn’t like america from what she’s seen so far, england is already far superior and all she wants is to find a way back home already.

when in your fandom has your character been pulled from -

she’s pulled from after the first wizarding war, she survived and fled after voldemort was defeated, denying ever being involved with the death eaters, able to avoid azkaban as she left england for a short while, retreating to france for the first few years. she was on her way back to england to return to her life at home when there was a shift and she woke up here in dc in 2021. 

has the magic affected your character -

not at all, she’s just the same as ever, so good luck to everyone. she’s just cockier now know that she survived and avoided any consequences for her involvement in the war. 

what is your character’s job -

trust fund baby. doesn’t want a job if she doesn’t need one. she can’t play quidditch here so what’s the point of making money any other way.

honestly i’m obsessed with her already ??? i’ve wanted a good evil hp character for a while, so expect emma to be just that. she is The Worst while looking like the best. pure blood, quidditch prodigy, some of the smartest in her classes, manipulative, loyal to her people, will be sure to remind people why they’re here, and none of it is to make friends with anyone who doesn’t support their goals. 

she was in school around the same time as the marauders, but was the slytherin qudditch captain from 1972-1976 , still trying to figure out how a 12 year old made it to captain but she may or may not have pushed someone over the stairs, or is truly just that good. we’ll see. i mean the real answer is she is just that talented but the rumor is funny

was a death eater during the first war, because i’m ignoring the fact that jk only mentioned two female death eaters we hate that. was a damn good one at that, but managed to avoid consequences later after the war thankfully. honestly, just enjoyed the whole concept of being able to use magic and spells as much as she wanted without having to hide it or deal with any real consequences to them. just wanted to be rid of muggles so wizards didn’t have to keep hiding their abilities. 

currently betrothed to amycus carrow, this is completely for the image, gotta keep the blood lines going, keep her family happy. her and amycus are friends, if there was anyone she was going to be arranged to marry, she can’t complain with it being him. but they do have an understanding that this is all for the image, and she is still open for any flings/past flings if you are interested. gonna be avoiding like a full ship for the moment, so it’s really just casual plotting rn

will definitely keep fleshing her out as i write her more but for right now i’ve got some connections if y’all wanna plot with my girl. we can also come up with some stuff that isn’t on her of course!!!

- where does your muse live? a house? apartment? how big is the space?

emma lives in foggy bottom, in a relatively large apartment. she can’t complain about the space she has, her room is large enough that she can stay in there and not feel trapped and she can reasonably avoid her roommate.

- does your muse live with anyone else? who are those people?

unfortunately, she has the displeasure of sharing this apartment with natalie mckinnon. don’t ask. she hates it more than you think, but it got her out of that dreadful free housing the president set up.

- how much time does your muse spend in their place? do they go out often or spend a lot of time in?

very little. if she can be away from the squib, she will. she does not want to spend more time around there than she needs to. although it is very convenient for her, to be able to be close to an order ally, she doesn’t enjoy it. she will try to spend time there when she’s alone, but when she has the chance to leave she does. 

- what is the view outside of your muse’s window?

the street below them.

- what do they sleep on? do they have a lot of pillows? what about blankets or stuffed animals?

emma’s bed is very well made, it has the whole nine yards of like a fancy hotel. she only sleeps with one of the pillows and her blankets but it does look very magazine esque.

her wand. her jewelry from the day before, her reading glasses

her wand i guess. honestly she doesn’t have much with her right now since coming to dc. 

- does your muse like to keep a lot of trinkets around or are they more minimalistic?

minimalistic. she enjoys things being clean and neat, everything has it’s place and there’s no need to overcrowd your space.

- does your muse have any pictures up? what are they of?

she has a few art prints up to decorate but otherwise no

she has candles and some old letters on her desk, as well as some jewelry displays. along with that she’s just a very big fan of statement mirrors, so she has a few up.

- does your muse like having guests over?

no, absolutely not. she doesn’t like having people over and knowing who her roommate is. she understands that down the line, it could be useful to have her so close to a mckinnon, but otherwise, right now, no one is allowed to visit her. she is more than happy to come to you.

- how tidy is your muse’s home/room?

emma is a very clean person, she’s also a nervous cleaner. she needs something to do with her hands, so she cleans. her space is always very tidy, and everything has a home. it doesn’t take any effort to just put it there. 

- does your muse have any pets living with them? what about plants?

no pets. she does live with natalie’s dozens of plants though. she won’t admit it but she does like them a lot, having always been a big fan of herbology and just greenery in general. if she wasn’t trying to be such a contrarian because of her situation, she would probably get a few of her own. but instead she’ll just enjoy natalie’s in silence.

how long has your character been here -

around two months? they’ve gotten settled out of the government housing, thank god for that cause that place reminded them too much of fedra school. they’ve moved in with their new roomie, sarah. still haven’t asked their last name, but ellie’s okay with that. they’re still getting settled and don’t really talk about their life much either.

what is your character’s job -

gremlin child idk ??? honestly , i think they’d end up going back to school, figure it out from here. i really don’t think she’s well adjusted enough to hold down like any steady job right now.

where has your character been pulled from in their fandom -

end of season one of the hbo series. this is where i show my fake fan vibes and say i have never played the games gkfdjg but im waiting for the release on steam, but for now, i will be playing ellie as fully from the hbo show.. that also means that i do not know tlou2 so pls no spoilers until i play it kgdfjlg

has any magic affected your character -

nope! their memories are fully intact!! though, they’re kinda wishing they got some of those fake memories cause that would make adjusting to a non apocalyptic world way easier

either way, ellie is a child born after the fall of the world as we knew it, she is raised within fedra’s QZ’s, and when she was a teenager, she went on a date with her best friend/**girlfriend** thank u , and then they were attacked. one of the infected came after them and bit both ellie and riley. 

fast forward, ellie does not!! turn!!!!! how !!!!!! inquiring minds would love to know

but bestie is immune to the fungus, and is then brought into firefly custody, to be shipped to a lab across the country that they’ll be able to use her to help form a cure. enter joel

joel gets fucking thrown into being the delivery person for ellie, and highjinks ensue. aka, you have one hell of an emotional development of found family !!! it’s beautiful, it’s great, ellie and joel would both fucking die or kill for each other and they have on multiple occasions. 

a lot of it comes down to the fact that joel with kill to get back to ellie, and ellie will kill to protect herself to find him again. 

i could really sit here and give so many details about the two of them, about how ellie goes from being just cargo to being baby girl, but i really do not want to give it away. it’s just 9 episodes i will give you my hbo login pls go watch it
