- where does your muse live? a house? apartment? how big is the space?
emma lives in foggy bottom, in a relatively large apartment. she can’t complain about the space she has, her room is large enough that she can stay in there and not feel trapped and she can reasonably avoid her roommate.
- does your muse live with anyone else? who are those people?
unfortunately, she has the displeasure of sharing this apartment with natalie mckinnon. don’t ask. she hates it more than you think, but it got her out of that dreadful free housing the president set up.
- how much time does your muse spend in their place? do they go out often or spend a lot of time in?
very little. if she can be away from the squib, she will. she does not want to spend more time around there than she needs to. although it is very convenient for her, to be able to be close to an order ally, she doesn’t enjoy it. she will try to spend time there when she’s alone, but when she has the chance to leave she does.Â
- what is the view outside of your muse’s window?
the street below them.
- what do they sleep on? do they have a lot of pillows? what about blankets or stuffed animals?
emma’s bed is very well made, it has the whole nine yards of like a fancy hotel. she only sleeps with one of the pillows and her blankets but it does look very magazine esque.
- what items do they keep next to their bed?
her wand. her jewelry from the day before, her reading glasses
- what is your muse’s most valuable possession?
her wand i guess. honestly she doesn’t have much with her right now since coming to dc.Â
- does your muse like to keep a lot of trinkets around or are they more minimalistic?
minimalistic. she enjoys things being clean and neat, everything has it’s place and there’s no need to overcrowd your space.
- does your muse have any pictures up? what are they of?
she has a few art prints up to decorate but otherwise no
- what, if any, other decorations does your muse have?
she has candles and some old letters on her desk, as well as some jewelry displays. along with that she’s just a very big fan of statement mirrors, so she has a few up.
- does your muse like having guests over?
no, absolutely not. she doesn’t like having people over and knowing who her roommate is. she understands that down the line, it could be useful to have her so close to a mckinnon, but otherwise, right now, no one is allowed to visit her. she is more than happy to come to you.
- how tidy is your muse’s home/room?
emma is a very clean person, she’s also a nervous cleaner. she needs something to do with her hands, so she cleans. her space is always very tidy, and everything has a home. it doesn’t take any effort to just put it there.Â
- does your muse have any pets living with them? what about plants?
no pets. she does live with natalie’s dozens of plants though. she won’t admit it but she does like them a lot, having always been a big fan of herbology and just greenery in general. if she wasn’t trying to be such a contrarian because of her situation, she would probably get a few of her own. but instead she’ll just enjoy natalie’s in silence.
- is your muse happy with their living situation? what would your muse’s dream house look like?
no, not really. it’s better than her previous one, and could be useful down the line so she has no plan to move yet. but she would like to leave eventually, to find a place with people that she cares about. somewhere that reminds her of home, of the life she’s used to.
