10 Photorealistic Portraits That Will Wow You
Artist Dirk Dzimirsky will say that his breathtaking photorealistic drawings aren't perfect replicas of real life, but they come pretty darn close.
The self-taught artist sketches with such detail, you may find yourself squinting at the screen. Dzimirsky opened up about his craft and the motivation behind his work.
Dzimirsky takes around 30 hours to complete a charcoal drawing, while an oil painting can take up to 130 hours. The artist believes that though the work is technique-driven, for him, it's not about transferring the physical aspects, but rather the emotional ones.
dirk dzimirsky = new favorite artist. his portraits......unf.
