#dying tree

You can see the sunrise kissing the top branches of this guy in my front yard. Goodbye old friend. 🙁

This is the last day for this tree to stand. The tree crew will be here in a couple hours to start taking it down. I would guess it is about eighty years old. I will take more photos later. They will be here with some pretty big equipment. The stump will be ground out on another day. It is a nice calm day, but cold. Right now it is only 33F degrees (1C) but it is supposed to warm up.

Just about hanging on in there…

This is a pair of oak trees that have both definitely seen better days, and are sadly on their way out:( Even though that may be the case, there's an air of defiance about them that I can identify with…

I see the shadow of your feet at my door

enchanted forest we once walked

decayed the fimiliar path now a maze

monsters lurk in the trees

friends and family are going to blame me

remember our first date your smiling eyes

singing along

getting coffee at night

I don't know if I will ever recover
