The Doctor had been following a ship, heading towards Earth. He didn’t recognize the ship at all, and knew that it could be a threat. He knew chasing it was pushing the TARDIS fairly hard, but he had no other choice as the space ship flew into Earth’s atmosphere.

The ship kept going and going until finally, it landed into a small lake next to a beach. The Doctor materialized his TARDIS near by and walked towards it to investigate, when he noticed something strange.

“How did my TARDIS get down here?” he thought, noticing the blue box in a different location. It never even occurred to him that it could be a different version of himself as he got out the key and opened the door.

“Oi,” the Doctor shouted in surprise as he noticed the older man staring at him from the TARDIS console room. “What are you doing here? You shouldn’t be able to get in here, and did you change the theme? I don’t like it.”

Sent to wander the woods rather than join his ‘country’ uncle, Tom did his best to make his way through the unfamiliar terrain, his black boots becoming muddy and scuffed as he slid and tripped here and there with every few uneven footstep. It was clear the young man was not meant for these surroundings, preferring the cobbles and pavestones of the cities, or somewhere he could find much more... true entertainment, to put it politely. Even more so in light of the fact that he had nodded off during Miss Austen’s reading. Although as he stumbled once more, a strange sound caught his attention, ringing out through the trees, causing the would-be lawyer to pause and look around him with utter bemusement. “How absolutely bizarre...”
