â Â @duskwiltââ asked: It's with a smile that Les approaches Caius and gently holds out a paper bag for him to take, 'fragile' written on the front in questionable cursive----just in case. "I'm not sure if this counts more as a present for you or the lions, but..." Inside are five origami lions: two made with glittery white paper and three with metallic gold, two with manes and three without. "I think I got them all right, at least." ! Â
(  â  )  â Curiosity settles in the moment Les holds out the small bag, the âfragileâ label stoking it all the more. The words that accompany it give him pause, but only for a moment before he gently takes it from him. He doesnât say anything before opening it as easily as he can manage, peeking into it. Heâs slow to pull one of the tiny paper creatures out of the bag, his heart warming as he does, breath catching for just a moment. The one heâs pulled out is certainly in the likeness of the large cat currently butting his head against Caius, as if heâs asking to see. The only difference is that the origami has more glitter.  â  Ah... Janus. Look, itâs you.  â  The words are spoken softly, his attention still captivated by the little gifts. Theyâre beautiful and very clearly well-made. Janus puffs softly, clearly just as pleased as Caius with the much smaller version of himself. Caius is all the more gentle when he puts the lion back in the bag, making note to take it and put it somewhere that they wonât get damaged. Immediately. But firstâ â  Thank you, Les. â The words are spoken just as quietly, but he can only hope that the awe he feels makes it through to his friend. â  You did get them all right. Theyâre beautiful. â As if to slam his point home, Janus moves to headbutt Les before Caius quite realizes whatâs happening. Leaving the quiet moment just this side of broken as he curls his fingers in the long mane and tugs just hard enough to get his attention, scolding in Latin all the while.Â
