So I have to make up new teams from scratch, sure, why not. I can do that!

Okay first of all Belkar has a Tyrantrum because you know why, and he also one of the few people with a shiny, this is because of Mr Scruffy, who is a Shiny Litten (eevee also works but thats also BASIC) I think belkar would go hard with the Litten line especially with how their claws get mentioned in dex entries. I also think he has two pokemon from before the order, a nacl because he's Picky about his ingredients and a Pawniard I think is kinda sick and twisted and can keep up with his murder sprees.

His pokemon are usually more companions then active battlers most of the time, he'd rather stab that spearow himself thank you very much. Though his team can absolutely hold its own

As for Durkon his team is very rock and ground heavy with Alolan Golem, Midday Lycanroc, Rhydon, and Diggersby. All of them are from his time in his old mountain home. None of them are too unusual for a dwarf back home besides the fact his Alolan Golem marks him as a Thor cleric due to it being one of the only electric pokemon that have access to. However as mentioned when Durkon gets vamped, the vampire immediately catches a Cacturne to desperately try to even out the team typing wise without raising suspicion. Even upon his defeat and return to normal Durkon keep the cacturne even if it kinda freaks him out a little because he's an honorable lad like that. Cacturne thinks he's the coolest guy ever though so it works out.

Haley grew up in a very poor background, and has very few pokemon because of it. She had more as a part of the thieves guild package, but upon leaving could only take the only pokemon she actually owned. A purrloin that would soon be a liepard. She hasn't really had a chance to catch more pokemon herself but she's fine working with a single pokemon thats as fast and agile as hers. I could see Elan helping her catch more pokemon though. She also took over Roy's team when he was dead

Speaking of Roy, his team is a fun one, first off Falinks, I just think it has such Roy vibes, bunch of little guys that are super loyal and work as a cohesive team. He also has a Gallade, it was probably a gift that was MEANT to become a Gardevoir because of his dad, but nope, Gallade Hours.

These were the two he started with, but he catches a few more over the comic because as the protagonist it's kinda like, his obligation to catch some more, which im sure Elan lampshades sometimes about his team. During the forest, he catches a Phantump which is just kinda cute but then gets really sad when we learn about his dead little brother. (It is not him to be very very clear, it's just the reason why Roy was so drawn to it)

Before dying, he ends up with a Charcadet in Azure City that becomes a Ceruledge when Roy returns back to life. Then during the conflicts over Vampire Durkon the mountainous terrain he wins the respect of a Braviary, finally getting a flying type (took him long enough you'd have think he'd be faster on that) I don't want to settle on his sixth member until the comic ends, but it really could be a lot of pokemon.

Elan's team is probably the most...chaotic, very fitting for him. First of all, from his days travelling on horseback, he has his faithful Rapidash! It's been with him since it was a Ponyta. He also has a Chimecho! A friendship evolution just felt right for him, its a sweet little thing, always ready to join Elan's songs with its own chimes. Then if that's not enough noise, you just KNOW Elan has a Chatot, I just KNOW he does. If that wasn't enough, he also managed to catch a Brionne when out and sea, long story, singing contest sidequest, V was unamused.

If that wasn't enough he also got a pokemon as a gift from his father! A Dracozolt! It's a lot more awkward now that he knows how fucked up its origins would actually be! oh no!

Also please look at how silly his team is, the only pokemon take any of this seriously is Rapidash, it's perfect.

V has another small team, similar to Belkar V prefers to just use their own skills over relying on a pokemon, however they still have a few from their training and also familiar. They recieved an espurr during training their powers which turned into a Meowstic-F (I picked female because they're more bossy then the males, fitting) and a Murkrow as Blackwing. However, they pick up one more pokemon. After all, so much death in a world with ghost pokemon? something's got to be drawn in from V's greatest mistake.

While the obvious choice would be Spiritomb, that feels a bit too...unsubtle. If you can't tell I don't like picking the obvious pokemon if I feel another pokemon could also work. So instead I picked Cursola. Both because it's about extinction and as a ghost type V could hide the origins from due to theoretically picking it up at sea. Plus I felt like it's unhappy expression and the fact curse is in the name could haunt V more.
