The last time I attempted to try a variation of a shoulder stand was the beginning of May while on vacation. I totally sucked at it. It’s hard to hold. It’s hard to breathe while trying to hold this pose. And I was not strong enough to extend my legs. Fast forward to today! While I haven’t tried the pose since then I have been diligent in doing yoga 3-4 times a week for the past 3 months, even if it was only 10 minutes. I was able to hold the pose higher! AND extend my legs this time. Yesterday I was frustrated with the limitations I’ve had with injuries. Today I’m encouraged. I’m so glad I didn’t just give up all my workouts and instead I switched to activity I COULD do. There’s always a way!
