#dumbo remake

- Dumbo is the fuckin cutest little elephant ever created 1000000000/10 literally why were there any other characters

- All the human characters: whack!

- Danny Devito and Colin Farrell can stay but they’re on thin ice

- Less racist than the original, which is positive, but Tim Burton directed it so i’m not convinced 

- Pink elephants scene was lit

- In film version of Baby Mine; mediocre but still made me cry

- Very obvious product placement of Dumbo plushies you can buy at the disney store

So Burton’s idea for this cruel tale of animal abuse, child abuse, social ostracization, and uncomfortable racial stereotypes was to get rid of Timothy Mouse (already one of the most underappreciated characters in all Disneydom) and replace him with two generic kids?

No, not all of his ideas worked, but unlike, say, a certain Cricket, he never walked out or gave up. I already knew this “Dumbo” movie was going to suck (Of all the Disney canon, why would you remake “Dumbo”?) but this?
