These Dulce De Leche Oatmeal Bars are a great sweet treat because they have both creamy dulce de leche and hearty oats.
Ingredients: 1 cup dulce de leche. 1 cup rolled oats. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Melt the butter and add the brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to a bowl. Mix well after adding the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Spread half of the mix into an 8x8-inch baking dish that has been greased. Cover the oat mixture with the dulce de leche. On top of the dulce de leche layer, crumble the rest of the oat mixture. When the top is golden brown, it's done baking. Let it cool down before you cut it into bars.
