ถ้าใครได้ดู clip "The Last Hipster" ของ ช่างชุ่ย × Dudesweet ซึ่งมีตอนที่พาดพิงวง oasis เนี่ย แฟนเพลงในยุคนั้น ก็น่าจะเข้าใจมุขที่ล้อเลียนได้อย่างไม่ยากเย็นนัก แต่ผมเอง ก็มีความทรงจำเกี่ยวกับ oasis และช่วงสมัยปี 90 ซึ่งต่างออกไป
คือว่า ตอนนั้น นานมา(ก)แล้วนะ สมัยที่ยังเรียนมหาวิทยาลัยอยู่ มีอยู่วันนึง ผมกำลังนั่งฟัง soundabout (รู้จักใช่มั้ย) อยู่ดี ๆ ก็มีเพื่อนมาเห็นปกเทปเข้า (เทปเพลงจะมีกระดาษ cover art เรียกปกเทป - อธิบายให้คนไม่รู้จัก) ก็ถามผมว่า...
เพื่อน: "เฮ้ย... นายฟังวง oasis ด้วยเหรอเนี่ย" ผม: "เปล่า ไม่ใช่ style เรา" เพื่อน: "อ้าว... ก็นี่ไง เห็นที่ปกเทปบอกว่า OASIS" ผม: "นี่ไม่ใช่ oasis แต่เป็น OASIS ต่างหาก" เพื่อน: "อะไรวะ ก็นี่ไง oasis อัลบั้ม คีตา ๆ อะไรเนี่ย" ผม: "นี่ศิลปิน New Age ชื่อ KITARO โว้ย และอัลบั้มนี้ชื่อว่า OASIS"
ป.ล.1 วง oasis จะใช้ font อักษรตัวเล็ก กับ logo ชื่อวง ส่วน KITARO มักจะใช้ font อักษรตัวใหญ่ทั้งหมด ซึ่งคำว่า OASIS ในอัลบั้มนั้น ก็ใช้อักษรตัวใหญ่เช่นกัน (แต่บางชุดก็ไม่ได้ใช้ตัวใหญ่นะ)
ป.ล.2 วง oasis ตั้งวงประมาณปี ค.ศ.1991 ส่วน KITARO ชุด OASIS เนี่ย วางจำหน่ายตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1979 แล้ว
