In ten days, I'll be seeing some great bands, and finally seeing Frank live on stage. I've waited about ten years for this.

For the trip to NY, I need small things to give to Frank for his family, and for him. I will probably write a short note, not a letter, but a note. There are a couple of things I would like him to know, but I don't need miles of text to say them. As far as objects, my plan is to make little felt poppets/circles/shapes the family can use as Xmas ornaments or magnets, shaped like Jawbreaker and Ramones logos. I'm also going to make a set for James and Danika, but I haven't decided on logos for those yet.

I said I wouldn't go on about the Death Spells/Architects show on my big blog, and this spot is more like my personal roost anyway. I am going to the show in Brooklyn on Nov 19th. I'm flying from Texas to NYC, and I'm finally going to get to meet Frank, James, and the guys from the Architects. I saved my money, and had to arrange for vacation time during my busy season, but it will be so worth it to see them in a small venue, and meet some of the wonderful people I've come to know--the Frankophiles. I've waited over ten years to see Frank on stage, because former life situations always precluded it. I am still not really over the loss of MCR, but I'm not trying to replace it either. I love the Death Spells sound, and I'm so excited. So, dear readers, bear with me over the next month as I work on the odetofrnk Tumblr, the Twitter, and Death Spells fan forum.
