Drying herbs, folded linens, and a basket on the counter—

Decided it was time to dry some lavender.
Still loads of blossoms left on the English lavender for the bees. I really appreciate how it blossoms so much earlier than the French lavender plant on the hillside of the house.
And here we are hanging up to dry in the mudroom.
Is there a guide book out there that's like, a collection of instructions on how to dry and preserve specific plants and/or foods?
Would love to have a book like that for my garden this summer! 👀

Our sage plant is absolutely ginormous this year so I started drying some to store for winter use!
The nice thing about herbs and flowers is that if there's too many to use now, they're pretty easy to save for later. The easiest way to dry herbs is to hang them somewhere out of the sun with good air circulation and wait.
Been working on catching up with the chamomile taking over the garden before I put the summer veggies in.
