lyra & claire ; dragonsâ dreams
@drxgonfangs
Lyra knew, as most trainers do, when her Pokemon were unhappy. Having just recently returned home from a far off region, she was happily welcomed by the creatures currently living in New Bark Town with her mother - but it didnât take long for her to notice how her Kingdra seemed . . . well, not herself. And it seemed it had been going on for a while, according to mom.
Lyra could not blame her; the waters of Route 47 were hardly stimulating, or giving her any sort of purpose. After traveling with her through Kanto, Lyra and her Kingdra decided some retirement would suit the Pokemon best - with deep lakes and rivers nearby, living at home seemed to be ideal, at least for a couple of years. But Lyra noticed her Kingdra growing unruly, refusing to listen . . . something had to be done, for her sake.
Luckily she had a pretty good idea of what to do.
The trainer couldnât remember the last time sheâd been to Blackthorn City - sure, she had to have visited since becoming a champion, but of course her more recent travels had taken place of ventures to towns sheâd already grown accustomed to. But she had a hunch that it would be just the right place to bring her Kingdra to.
A place so in-touch with the dragon type would hopefully make a fine home for her good friend.
She arrived sometime in the late afternoon, Kingdraâs Pokeball in hand and Victoria, her Kirlia, at her side. Lyra hoped to once more meet with the Dragon tamer clan, to hopefully consult with them about her dilemma. The first place she thought to look was the Blackthorn Gym itself - there was a good chance sheâd find Clair training inside.
