My name is Sophia, and I’m working on creating my own, full length Dangan Ronpa fangame! To do this, though, I need some help.

I already have one artist on board, but I really don’t want her to be overworked doing everything for this game! She’ll be making the sprites, but I’ll need someone who can draw backgrounds as well as evidence bullets. Also, I’ll need someone to do art for the executions and CGs, or whatever you want to call them. I would like to have the same person do all of these (the executions and cgs that is). These will not be animated, as that would be way too much to ask for without pay.

If you’re curious about the general aesthetics of the game (like how DR1 was called “psycho-pop” and NDRV3 was described as “psycho-cool”), this game would have a more horror style (which I am calling “psycho-horror”), with the events taking place on Makai Mountain (JPN 魔界岳). Currently, I’m envisioning it resembling the locations of Until Dawn and Resident Evil 7, with the chapters taking place in locations similar to those found in horror movies.

As much as I would like to, I will not be able to pay you for your work on this. I currently am in my senior year of high school, and any money I have will be used so I can attend college next year. However, my hope is that through doing art for this game, you’ll gain the exposure you need to get plenty of commissions!

Secondly, to bring this game to life, I’d like to try to create it’s own original soundtrack. The music for it would hopefully be similar to that of the other DR games, though generally with a more traditional vibe to it. Here’s a playlist of songs I think fit the aesthetic of the game. Like with the art, I cannot pay you for your work on the music. However, if you’re interested, send me a message or ask with an example of your music.
