I'm thinking about Dishonored 2 again. I like the game, I do, it's a very good game. However.
I think it could've been better with just a couple changes.
Instead of freezing one of the optional protagonists or the other, have them on the boat at the same time. One is gathering information while the other is going after targets.
I think Corvo should be mute, honestly. Whether he took a vow or silence in the first game or torture fucked his voice box.
Maybe that's why he can't go after targets; he can't interrogate, so he's reluctantly letting Emily take the lead.
The antagonist shouldn't be Delilah. I personally agree with all the videos that point out what a problem her story is.
Information gathering should be a key part of every mission. I rather like the first game, where the objective of every mission leads right into the next: Campbell has the location of Emily and the Pendletons, as well as the paintings as clues as to who to go for next, etc.
There's no way Corvo doesn't clock Billie as an assassin. She's shady as shit.
With Corvo such a big shot and Serkonos as his home, I feel like there should be more references to his past than one (1) plaque and the building he grew up in. Not too much, like don't make it all about him, but having a newspaper clipping here or there, maybe with interviews with people who knew him growing up. Like when someone from your hometown gets famous and there are random interviews with, like, Phyllis from next door in the papers.
