Sometimes I think about how Drifter and Eleanor are the perfect dichotomy of mutual embodiment. Eleanor can link her mind with Drifter, while inversely, Drifter can inhabit her body through Transference. And at any time, either one of them could take control of the other. Which kinda balances out the unspoken power dynamic that would exist in such a relationship, because Eleanor can control Drifter in a way the others can't. Their power over one another suddenly becomes mutual, and there's almost this intimacy in such a sacred act because they trust each other to take care of their mind/body.
