Been working on this piece for agesss! Voruna (Žvorūna) protoframe as, well... Žvorūna 🐺🍃
Žvorūna is a Lithuanian goddess of hunting, as well as protector of forests and animals. She played an important role in hunters' lives and rituals.
She's associated and can be interchanged with goddess Medeina, who's name appeared in Lithuanian mythology later, from what I read. Medeina is often portrayed with wolves following her and her scared animal is a hare.
I wanted to give Voruna a mythology-inspired look with traditional Lithuanian clothing/details (some slight artistic liberties taken ofc). Big shout out to rutazalioji.lt where I got inspiration/references for it!
More designs and workings of Subject and the next warpframe which is Voruna. She works differently that her default counter part, her "pack" are not floating heads that fly about. They are fighting each other but working together for their own means. Cerberus like creature rather than a leader of the pack.
