Today, we mourn the loss of a visionary, a mentor, and a truly kind soul โ Dr. Hemant Patel.
Founder and Director of Gujarat Imaging Centre ๐ฅ, past President of IRIA, and Honorary Secretary of AOSR ๐, Dr. Patel was not only a pioneer in radiology and nuclear medicine, but also a dear friend to many in the medical fraternity.
His brilliance โจ was matched by his humility โ a man who balanced excellence in his field with deep human warmth. Whether it was mentoring young radiologists , representing India at the global stage ๐ฎ๐ณ๐, or winning a silver medal in international powerlifting , his life was one of passion, purpose, and generosity.
His presence, wisdom, and kindness will be missed far beyond the world of radiology. Our thoughts and prayers ๐ are with his family and loved ones in this moment of grief.
